 NIT Calicut offers 10 specialisations under the BTech course in a full-time mode. The duration of all the courses is four years. Presented below are all the BTech specialisations offered at NIT Calicut:

The total tuition fee of the four-year BTech course offered at NIT Calicut is INR 5 lakh. This fee is for the candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories and has an annual income greater than INR 5 lakh. Moreover, the total course fee shall include hostel fees of INR 3.43 lakh and a one-time fee of INR 30,500 as well. To get a seat in BTech at NIT Calicut, candidates must have a valid JEE Main score. The final admissions to the institiute is based on JoSAA Counselling up to Round 6 followed by CSAB Counselling upto two Special rounds. NIT Calicut admissions are entirely entrance-based for all its UG & PG courses. The campus of the National Institute of Technology Calicut is located in Calicut (Kozhikode) city. NIT Calicut covers an area of around 120 hectares. The campus is green, and the ambience is very enjoyable. It is a residential campus, with all amenities available on and around the campus. There are 13 hostels on the campus, out of which 10 are for boys and 3 for girls. All the hostels have a common room and recreational centre where newspapers, magazines, TVs, and indoor sports and games facilities are available. Free 24-hour internet and computational facilities are available in almost all hostels. Messes operated by outsourcing are available in all hostels. The central library has a collection of over 1.55 lakh books, 193 national and international journals, and other resources that cater to knowledge. The institute provides transportation services for the campus community in the morning and evening shifts. The bus service also runs in the afternoon from the east campus towards the hostel area.

No, NIT Calicut does not facilitate direct admission to any of the courses. Admission is entirely based on merit in the national-level exams, including JEE Main,  GATE,  IIT JAM,  CAT,  NIMCET,  UGC NET, etc. Candidates are further required to participate in other selection rounds, such as counselling, written exam, and interview as well, as per the applied course selection criteria.

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses.
