Good infrastructure and environment.

Placements: Training and placement cell is there in my college. In M.Tech, the students above 7.5 CGPA are offered internships. For internships, the minimum stipend offered is about Rs. 25,000 per month. Most of the seniors were placed in companies. Each year nearly above 100 companies are coming for the placements requirement.

My National Institute of Technology, Calicut.

Placements: The placement for civil is very poor. Only a handful of companies visit our college. And, the package offered is comparatively low too. The highest package in civil engineering department was 3.5 Lacs CTC. But, the other departments like computer science got the package of about 25 Lacs.

Satisfied in all manner and happy to be a part of this college.

Placements: All the branches have very good placements here. CS is the leading branch here. All the rest are having above 90% placements. The department of training and placement is doing a really great job here, and all the students work hard to get placed.

Good college, best education and average infrastructure.

Placements: Coming to my branch, that is computer science. This college is one of the best with an average annual pay of 9L and the highest of 27L. It is also the top branch of the college. Almost 98% of the eligible people got placed every year companies like Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, google and so on. Only this branch will have internships through college. This year 15 students got interns. In which 40 k per month is the highest stipend offered.

The review of NIT, Calicut by a 2014 graduate.

Placements: The placement scenario of the college is good. The placements were good for the circuit branches like computer science, electrical, and electronics and communication. The average package was around 10 lakhs per annum. For non-circuit branches, the average package was around four to five lakhs per annum.

Wonderful environment for learning along with enjoying life with full satisfaction

Placements: The placement scenario was better in our batch compared to our seniors' batch. Nearly 80 students got placed in our Electrical Engineering batch out of a total of 135 to 140 students who registered for placements. Thus the placement percentage was nearly 60 in electrical engineering. Compared to the previous years, the placement percentage enhanced by an appreciable amount in our batch. The placements for electrical engineering at NIT Calicut was almost 100% when I joined the institute 4 years b...

A good choice for engineering

Placements: The placements are pretty good compared to other institutions. Almost all famous companies and PSUs visited the campus. There is always a cent percent placement for CS batch. Both core and non-core companies visit every year. Based on CGPA, students get to sit for the placements. The training and placement cell helps the students a lot till they join the company.

Best NIT for CS and ECE branches.

Placements: Placements for the 2013-17 batch were above expectations, especially in CS and ECE branches. More than 95% people got placed with an average of around 10 LPA. In mechanical, electrical and chemical branches, placements were around 60-70% with an average of 6 LPA. Many PSUs visited this year e.g. BPCL, BPCL, IOCL, GAIL and some IT sector PSUs. Placements are expected to grow in the coming years.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of less placements.

Placements: No placements are there for architecture students. The internship is compulsory for students in semester 9. The highest stipend as of heard is 10,000 per month and the lowest is 3,000 per month. For the past many years, L&T visited our campus. The intake of students was based on civil engineering knowledge rather than architecture knowledge.

The average package is 3 lakhs per annum. The major company that is recruiting the students is L&T. Around 40% of the students got internships. As a civil engineering student, I prefer surveying. Partially satisfied with faculty and placement.

Placements: NITC had good placements in the last 10 years. Last year, out of 140 students, 70 were placed in different companies. Companies like Larsen and Turbo, TATA, Infosys, Technopark and many other companies visited. As compared to other branches, the civil branch has fewer placements. The highest annual salary offered was 5 lakh and the lowest was fifty thousand. Around 60 students got an internship last year. Some of them got a stipend of 10 thousand rupees.

Good for muggers. People who want a life, should not come here.

Placements: Placements are good but not as much as they should be. There are many students who are getting packages of more than 15 lakhs, but the overall placement is 70-80%. If you are hard working and dedicated, you will be placed without any difficulties. There is a drawback in this college, they don't allow you to sit for the second job if you have already grabbed one, thus it can hamper your package, i.e. you deserve a 20 lakh package, but you are already placed with 6 lakhs, so anyone else, who is le...

Placements: Some seniors got really good packages of around 20 lakh/annum. 60-70% of students got placed. The highest package was around 21 lakhs, the lowest was around 3 lakhs and the average was 6-7 lakhs. Companies like TCS, Schneider, Tata etc. come for placements. The best technical college in Kerala and one of the best in South India.

Placements: The placements for chemical engineering and other smaller branches are bad. Civil placements are poor as well. But there are almost 100% placement for circuit branches and more than average placements in mechanical. Physics and Biotechnology placements are almost nil. Computer science is the highest and generally 75% of the companies that comes for recruitment are from software and analytics background. Chemical engineering placements fluctuate year to year.

Placements: The placements were good. Many new startups also came for placements and selected many students for both internship and jobs. But, yeah! In recent years, the rate of placements is declining in this college. The highest salary offered was 13 LPA, and lowest salary offered was 6 LPA. More than 60% of the students got placed.
