The college is good, but don't expect too much.

Placements: That placements are very good. Around 80% of the batch got already placed. Placements in core companies are increasing year by year. All the mechanical students go to IT companies as they get higher packages than core companies. In IT companies, the base package is around 9 LPA.

I am satisfied with the faculty members. It provided good placements in the previous year.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good and far better than some of the IITs, and it is the oldest NIT. Companies like Amazon and Google visit our college for placements and internships. The highest salary package offered till now is 50 LPA. The placements percentage is very high, and people hardly do not get a job here.

Overall, it is the premium quality institute.

Placements: I belong to civil engineering. As it is a non-programming branch, the placement chances are less. But in our college, around 70% of students got placed, that's is huge in terms of numbers. The minimum salary offered is 3 LPA, the average package is 4-5 LPA, and the highest package is 16 LPA or above. If you have coding skills, then you will get placed easily with a high salary. Intel, Tata, Oracle and many more companies visit every year. Many companies also offer internships.

It has an excellent infrastructure, faculty and campus but low placement opportunities for M.Tech.

Placements: There are less placement opportunities for our branch of specialisation compared to other specialisations. There are approximately 50% to 60% placements in companies. Some of those companies are Oracle, TCS, Sandip University, etc. The average salary package offered here is 6 LPA. They have offered multiple roles.

Placements: I am still in 2nd year, so I don't know about placements. Statistics are good. I met one of my seniors who got placed with a package of almost 35 LPA, and he was the guy who got the highest package in the chemical engineering branch. Otherwise, the average package offered is 10 Lacs per annum.
