I had the best two years of my life from this college.

Placements: Placements provided to the students of masters are not that appreciable in comparison to the bachelors, but the opportunities are present indubitably. It would require hard work and due diligence to bag those opportunities amid cut-throat competition, with hectic academic routine. The salary package offered was around 6 LPA, with some going to 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Generally, companies like General Electric and Oracle visit our college to hire M.Tech graduates. There are several engineering colleges b...

Good Faculty, Excellent placement overall for 2013, decent infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements were almost 100% for the branches EEE, EC, Mechanical and Computer Science. Computer Science saw an average salary of around 7.5 -8 Lacs per annum. The highest salary was 16 Lacs offered by Amazon. In Production Engineering, around 60% of the batch was placed in campus. Companies like Hyundai, Tata Motors, Robert Bosch were some of the main companies who came for placements for Production Engineering offering roles like Associate Manager, Management Trainee etc. The highest salary...

Top rated and one of the best engineering colleges in India.

Placements: The college achieved 100% placement record in all departments. The highest package offered was close to 25 lacs per annum, the lowest was around 4.5 lacs per annum, and the average was around 6 lacs per annum. The college has a placement cell which handles placement activities. There were no full-fledged summer internship programs in the college.

I'm satisfied with the friendly and skilled faculty members and study-friendly environment.

Placements: The placements conducted for our senior batch were good, and the average salary package offered was 6.8 LPA. The company named Goldman Sachs visited the college to offer placements to the students. The college provides the placements in core companies and other marketing companies.

This college is good to spend your two years of PG.

Placements: Placements for M.Tech mechanical are very poor. Only 10-13 students got placed in our batch and no one in the core industry. People got placed in coding companies and in teaching fields. Placements for B.Tech mechanical is around 60-70%. Placements for coding branches is more than 100% for all M.Tech, MCA and B.Tech degrees.

Visit the college once before taking admission.

Placements: The placements for EEE students in National Institute of Technology are very good. The package offered to EEE students is Rs. 7.4 Lacs per annum and Rs. 10 Lacs per annum for computer science students. About 80% of the students were placed on campus. Many students get jobs through campus drives. Many companies like Google, TCS, etc., visit the college.

NIT Calicut - A holistic review.

Placements: Placements were nice with big brands coming for recruiting. A wide variety of roles were on offer varying from consulting to core engineering roles. While some of the companies mandated that specific branch must only sit for placements, majority of the companies allowed branches of ECE, CS and other branches to sit together for their processes.

The college has good infrastructure, placements, food, and climate.

Placements: There are many chances of getting placed if we maintain a good range of scores. The activities in these campuses also will be related to our talents, which makes our resume good. The percentage of placed people is more in any of the branches.

Really good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: The core branches like mech, EEE, EC, CS has pretty good placement chances compared to other branches. And the highest package is around 25 LPA. I'm a student of production engineering. Right now more than 50% of the class has secured jobs. The companies that came for recruitment are TATA motors, MRF tyres, LNT, Ashok Leyland, Hitachi etc. Also consulting companies like Capegemini also recruited students.

National Institute of Technology, Calicut.

Placements: The placements have not yet finished, but so far these are good. For last year the highest package was 14 LPA by ONGC based on my senior's GATE score an interview. My professors believe that this time placements will be better than previous as our branch has been accredited A+ for the next 10 years.

This NIT has a vibrant campus and yummy food.

Placements: The placement cell in the college is working good and is providing a lot of opportunities for the students. Main firm L&T is recruiting at least 5 to 6 PG students from the civil engineering department. Up to 50 percent of the students joining the institute for postgraduate are getting placed in well-known companies.

A well structured and friendly campus.

Placements: As far as our computer science branch is concerned, we have very good placements, and every year, the average salary goes up. About 97% of the computer science students are placed till now. And, the people left can be counted on fingers and rest will be placed by the end of this month (Feb-2018). We have a placement cell here which is very supportive, but the placement head is very strict and that's what made us to get jobs. It is all because of sir's dedication in getting various companies.

Among them, the highest package offered in the year 2017 was 22 lakhs per annum and whereas the lowest package offered was 4.4 lakhs per annum. Placements: Placements are good at NITC. In 2016, about 60% from the chemical branch got placements in various petroleum companies like Reliance. This year also, the placement is very good and it's still going on. The highest package for the chemical branch is 12 lakhs (in 2016) and the lowest is 3 lakhs, which is fine.

Placements: The placements are based on your talent here. Even if you study chemical engineering, and prepare for software subjects, you will be placed here with a good package. The highest package of our seniors is 32 LPA. If you study well and excel in your department, you can have a good package.
