NIT Calicut Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: I am still studying in college, and the placements are still going on. Getting internships is difficult for civil engineering students. Placements are also less for this branch, and it might be due to the pandemic. So far, the lowest package offered is 4.2 LPA for our branch. L&T is the top recruiter. Almost 95% of students from computer science and EC got placements. Almost 25% of students from our branch are placed by now, in the core field and IT field.

Placements: The placements are good. Many MNCs visit our college, like Qualcomm Technologies, HCL, Accenture, Goldman Sachs etc. The average package offered is 10 Lacs per annum. Last year, the highest package offered was 50 Lacs per annum by Adobe.

Placements: I am from electronics and communication engineering, and I joined in the year 2019. This year (2020), around 95% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 75 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 9 lacs per annum. Till now, Google is the top recruiter. A maximum of 78% of the students got internships in various companies.

Placements: Around 89.72% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 38 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4.80 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 11.94 LPA. About 76.82% of the students got internships. Almost 100% of the computer science and engineering students got placed, followed by electronics and communication department students.

Placements: Almost 99% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered in the last time was 33 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered was 4.6 LPA.

Placements: In 2020, our college got the highest placement as 49-50 LPA, with an average 17LPA+ in CSE department, the students percentage who secured job is 100%, Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, Infosys visited college. In this pandemic situation our department shows great change in internships offered by top companies.

Placements: CSE placements from the past two years are almost 100%. The average salary package offered in 2018-2019 was around 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 18 LPA. Almost all students got placed. In our course, the minimum salary package offered is 4.2 LPA.

Placements: Companies like Goldman Sachs, ISRO, Flipkart, Google, etc., visit our college to offer placements. The placement rate of the CSE branch is almost 100%. The average salary package offered in placements is 18 LPA.

Placements: Placements are one of the main attractions of the college, and it is ranked among the top three NITs. NITC has extremely good placements to be proud. The highest salary package offered in electrical engineering is 32 LPA. Almost 75% of the students got placed from college.

Placements: 98% were placed in top companies like Texas Instruments, Intel, etc. The placements are generally good especially in CSE and ECE, software companies like goldman sachs, oracle etc. also recruit. Irrespective of branch, depending on how you perform in their tech interview matters.

Placements: Around 90% of eligible students got placed last year. 44 Lacs was the highest package offered and 6 Lacs was the lowest offered and 13 Lacs was average. Top companies like TCS, Mahindra were the recruiters. Around 20% of the students got internship in several top companies. Assistant engineer was the role offered.

Placements: From the ECE branch, about 89.76% of the students got placed in various MNCs with an average salary package of 11.94 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 38 LPA. Dream companies like Intel, Philips, Bajaj, OnePlus, HDFC, Nvidia, Tata Motors, Cisco and Wipro offered good placements to graduates. About 133 companies participated in placements, and about 151 graduates got internships from our college.

Placements: More that 90% of students in ECE department are placed in various companies. CSE department achieved a 100% placement and the highest package was 50 lacs per annum. Amazon, Oracle, Infosys are some of the companies. The minimum requirement to sit for placement is CGPA of 6.5.

Placements: The placements in electrical department in NIT calicut is excellent. 80% of the students were placed in different prestigious companies. The highest salary package was 15.5 lakh and the lowest was 3.4 lakh with an average of 9.4 lakh per annum. The companies included Tata, Bajaj, Amazon, Oracle, Wipro etc. 30% of the students were granted internships.

Placements: More than 60% of the students got placed from the chemical engineering department. The highest salary package offered was around 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was about 4 LPA. Internship opportunities are provided to all the students, and a few of them get those. If you work smart throughout the course, you will get good internships and placements.

Placements: NIT Calicut has got good placements in the previous years and it's increasing over years. The NIT tag gives a good exposure to students. The placement percentage is above 98 % for CSE students and 90% for core branches like ECE, EEE, and Mechanical etc. The median package is 9.5 LPA.

Placements: 45% of students were placed this year. The highest package offered was 49 LPA, the lowest and average being 3 LPA and 10 LPA respectively. Both indian and foreign companies come to our college for placements. Top companies like Google, Amazon, Egipto, Bajaj, Oracle come for placements. 30% of the students get internship every year.

Placements: Great placement and good offers from a lot of world class multinational companies including Microsoft, WIPRO, CISCO, Infosys, IBM etc. The highest placement was for CSE which was 50 LPA and 100% of students were placed during recruitment. For ECE, 85% students were placed.

Placements: Very effective placement system. For chemical engineering graduates minimum placement salary is 4 Lacs per annum and the highest placement salary is 21 Lacs per annum Average placement salary is 9 Lacs per annum 100% placement of eligible students.

Placements: Good placement especially in the Electronics and Communication branch. Companies that recruit include WIPRO, Infosys, Microsoft, Google etc. The placement for ECE is 86.9%. For CSE it is 100%. The highest salary was 50 lacks per annum and the lowest salary was 5 Lacs per annum. The minimum requirement to sit for placement is GPA of 6.5.
