The college has an experienced faculty. It is the best place to improve your language and other skills. In the civil engineering department, there are 14 professors and more associate and assistant professors. The core branches have average placements. There are very good placements in computer science and technology. The college is very strict in terms of academic life. The campus life is cool.

First of all this is an NIT (a first tier institute and an institute of national importance). This college houses a competitive cross-section of approx. 5000 students. 50% of the students here are from Kerala due to state quota of NITs. Students have a very healthy atmosphere to learn and interact here. Seniors are supportive but yes there is a little bit of ragging too, but not so harsh. You have to do some work for them. The placement cell at NIT is very robust. The average package offered is...

Absolutely disappointed by new rules of college

Placements: Average offer to ECE students been increased to Rs. 19.29 Lakhs from Rs. 15.34 Lakhs at the same time last year . Oracle , Texas instruments , amazon , flipkart , samsung etc are the top recruiters of ECE . Electronics engineer , telecommunication engineer are some of the core jobs but people can also opt for software jobs like software engineer , data scientist etc if they acquire the required skills .

College academics, facilities and infrastructure are good.

Placements: In 2023, 23 out of 37 students placed from production engineering branch with the highest package 12lpa, the lowest package 5lpa and average package was around 8-9lpa. Internships offered to production engineering. Students is very low (I guess only 2-3 students got internship on-campus). My advice for production students of NITC for placements is to go for teach placements or higher studies and not depend upon core placements.

Placements: The students here got plaat big companies like amazon, techmahindra, Infosys etc. The average package was 14 LPA. Many of the students were offered jobs or internships from different companies with different packages. The people from mechanical branch were highly recruited from our campus.

Best college for the bright future of students.

Placements: The top companies like Goldmanham Sachs, E-shaw, Microsoft and many top organizations show up at our school recruit understudies for both full time and temporary jobs. The division of preparing and position is doing a truly incredible work here, and every one of the understudies strives to get placed.

NIT calicut - A perfect place to study.

Placements: The architecture branch has fewer placements. But the pass percentage is more! And architecture requires more creativity and has less scope so, it all depends on your interest and creative side to grow in this field! I have learned a lot from my friend's faculty and the society there!

Absolutely good and perfect for engineering.

Placements: Nearly 70 percent of students were placed in the National Institute of Technology. The students of CSE and IT branches were mainly placed. The highest package is 45 LPA. About 80 percent of students get internships. However, our branch of Production Engineering gets smaller packages.

Review of NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Percentage of placement is high as far as CSE and ECE departments are concerned, but it is not much for other branches. Internships are offered for third-year students with Land being the major employer for civil. Training and placement cell plays a vital role in getting students good opportunities.

Placements: Placements are not yet finished as there is one more round of June July placement. The highest salary package offered is 17.3 LPA. L&T is the top recruiter. Internships offered in civil engineering are very less. Placements in the previous year are completed. It is already updated on the college website, i.e., around 80% of the students got placed from our branch.

NIT Calicut is worth the money paid.

Placements: The college provides almost 80-90% of placements, and NIT Calicut is not exceptional. Every year, about 150 companies visit our college and recruit qualified students. Placements in our college are very good. The average salary package offered to EEE branch students ranges between 7-8 LPA.

The college is strict, not innovative and follows primitive stuff.

Placements: Placements were not that much excellent except computer science department. There were many students not placed on departments like chemical, biotech, production. Before 2011 everything was good, but after that, there are very few companies visits this college for recruitment, which is the reason most of the students not placed.

I am satisfied because of good faculty, good placements in some years, good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were not very frequent for civil engineering in NIT Calicut. Almost 33-40% of placements every year. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Mostly L&T and also ULCC visited our campus for placements. About 30% of students got an internship from college with an average stipend of Rs. 2,000 per month.
