NIT Kurukshetra Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Students start applying for placements from the 7th semester, but there are companies that offer PPO to students who are interested in the 6th semester. Overall, placements are good here. Almost 60% of students have already got placed in 6 months as more than 100 companies visit the college for placements.

Placements: General and OBC category students should atleast score 95% to get this course. SC, ST, and students whose family income is lower than 1 LPA have to score 80% in academics. Many top companies like Amazon, L&T, Honda Motors, and Hero MotoCorp visit our college and offer a salary package that ranges between 4-10 LPA, and for that, students should atleast get 8 grades in every semester.

Placements: About 60% of students got placed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but more than 90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered is above 7 LPA in 2020. Top recruiting like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Oracle, Hero, Tata, etc., visit our college for placements.

Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in last year. The average salary package offered ranges from 4.5 LPA - 10 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are more than 200. Adobe, Google, TCS, GS, Amazon, Samsung, Blue Stacks, Oyo, Shop clues, etc., visit to hire students. Around 65% of students get internships, mostly from the core. If students have been placed in an IT company then, software, data analysis are the major roles offered.

Placements: In civil engineering there are companies who came each year but our highest placement came from an IT company who recruited a student of civil with package of around 40 lac per annum. Now like other colleges it depends on students to get their internship but college also allows external internship in 3rd year also.

Placements: Overall placements in our college are good. Nearly more than 250 companies visit the campus every year for placements for UG and PG students. The average salary package offered is more than 11 LPA for UG students and about 7.5 LPA for PG students. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many more.

Placements: The placements in the civil department are not so good as only 20% of students are placed in 2021. But the average placement percentage in civil is 50 to 60%, but this year, covid affected civil placements. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, and the average package is around 6 to 7 LPA. But there are lots of government jobs for civil students.

Placements: NIT Kurukshetra has a dedicated training and placement cell that acts as a bridge between students and companies for both final placements and internships. A few more details regarding T&P cell, along with the placement trends and statistics of NIT, are a total of 415 students were placed out of 731 students during B.Tech placements 2021. The median and average salary packages offered to students recorded for all B.Tech specialisations in 2021 were 9 LPA and 11.37 LPA, respectively.

Placements: Since due to corona our classes are going online but our college allow us for 20 days in 3rd semester only for practicals where I interact our seniors told me about placement that those students who wanted to be placed and having overall CGPA great than or equal to 7.0 will be placed 100% but those who want to continue their higher studies only those not takes placement in my branch ECE.

Placements: Over 20+ hires from big companies like Microsoft, Amazon. Over 10+ hires from Flipkart, Oracle. Very nice placements. Over 25+ hires from Paytm, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, KPMG. Airtel, Q3 technologies, Accenture, Capgemini also visited the campus.

Placements: In computer engineering, the placements are very good, as more than 90% of students get placed during on-campus placements. For the batch of 2020 pass outs of computer engineering, the highest package offered is 43.31 LPA, the lowest package offered is 5.5 LPA, and the average package offered is 14.67 LPA. Placements: Our college has an excellent past record of placements. Our college has 100% placements for all eligible students. Almost all CSE, IT, MCA and ECE students got placed quickly in 1st half of the placement year with good software jobs. Other branches like ME, civil, EE and MBA take some time for the core company jobs.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed from our college after graduation. But compared to other branches like CS and IT, the probability of getting placed is very high. So, I suggest you to try to get admission to such branches.

Placements: About 80% of the students got placed from our mechanical course. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 33 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Most of the companies which visit here for placements are Bajaj, Honda, ONGC, etc. All students got internships from NIT Kurukshetra for a new project started by Simens Centre of Excellence.

Placements: Chief engineer, site engineer, field in-charge, assistant engineer, professor, assistant professor, civil engineer, civil department head, civil faculty, and chief civil engineer roles are offered to the students in placements.

Placements: In the previous year, only 30%-40% of the students were placed in L&T. This year, WAPCOS also visited our college. The highest salary package offered was around 17 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. This year around 60% to 70% of the students got internships, and companies which offered internships are DRDO, CPWD, GMDA, NBCC, NHAI and CBRI. Roles offered here are engineers.

Placements: Since we are in the pre-final year, none of our batchmates got placed yet. However, most of the students got selected for internships. Companies, including Delhi Jal Board, DRDOs and CPWD visit our college. Roles offered to civil engineering students are a trainee, as freshers.

Placements: In IT-related branches, there is a good placement rate, but in core branches, placements are not much good. Even internship related companies are not available at that time. Top recruiting companies for IT-related branches are Amazon, Flipkart, etc. For core branches, Hero, Honda, Mahindra, etc., visit here for placements. The highest salary package offered in 2020 was 21 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. For internships, approximately 10% of the students got selected.

Placements: Placements in our civil department are average. The average salary package offered ranges from 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Around 60% of the students got placed. All the students from our batch got internships. Professors here help us to apply for internships in various companies.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Nearly 85% of the students from our batch got placed. The highest salary package offered for our course is 22 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Ford, Bajaj, Samsung etc.
