Placements: More than 90% of placements were achieved in the year 2022. The lowest package offered was 3.6 LPA, and the highest was for 2.1 crores for TCS and Facebook respectively (also Google). The average for civil varied between 7-10 LPA. L&T, UltraTech, Birlas, and others were the most prominent companies among these. At least 50% of students got an internship + FTE at Larsen and Toubro, UltraTech, Adani Power, Afcons Infrastructure, and others.

Placements: As per college authorities, there was 95 percent placement in the electrical department. The highest package was 45 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. There were top companies like Google, Amazon, Accenture, and a lot of PSUs like DRDO, ISRO. Top roles offered were SDE, GET, Data Analyst, etc.

Placements: About 75% of students were placed in the college. The highest package was 45 lakhs this year and the average package was about 15 lakhs. Top recruiters were Adani groups, TCS, HCL, INT, etc. The top roles provided are as a power engineer, at the assistant engineer post and some posted at the government JE level .

Placements: For Electrical Engineering, the placement percentage is 95%. The highest, lowest, and average package offered were 56 LPA, 6 LPA, and 14 LPA, respectively. NIT Patna has a strong reputation for attracting renowned companies across various sectors. Some of the top roles offered to Electrical Engineering graduates include: Power System Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer, Systems Engineer, Electrical Project Manager, Renewable Energy Engineer, etc.

Placements: As a fresher, I have heard a mixed opinion from our seniors; some say very few students are placed, some say a good number of students are placed . Our professors said that all students who sit for placement are placed successfully, while some opt for higher studies or GATE. Average package is 8.80 lakh, highest is 1.6 crore, and lowest is 4 lakh per annum. But yes, one thing I liked about placements at NIT-Patna is that it doesn't allow companies for procurement who offer less than 6 LPA.

Placements: As a current student pursuing my MCA in data science at NIT Patna, this is the first time when NIT Patna has introduced MCA for 3 years, and last it was for 2 years with an average package range from 6-8 LPA, with the highest of 30 LPA, and 100% of students got placed.

Placements: In 2023, MCA was discontinued, but it started again in 2024. In MCA '23, there was 100 percent placement. The highest package was 23 LPA at Amdocs, the median package was 6.2 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA (this information I got from my seniors and faculty). Amdocs, SAP, Microsoft, Cisco, Deloitte, and many more companies are involved. Internships on campus were offered to 20-25 students out of 133 students. The top roles provided by recruiters were SDE and SWE.
