NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: There are around 6 to 7 courses in our college which are CSE, IT, electrical, mechanical, chemical, civil, and metallurgy. As per placements, we can say that around 62-70% of students from every branch got placed in one of the greatest companies of India like Vedanta and TCS. Some government companies like BHEL, etc., visit for placements.

Placements: Our institute has a placement cell. It helps students to acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L&T, and Nvidia visit our campus. It provides jobs in every field from information tech to material-related jobs. Here, job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day, about 30-40 students got placed with an average salary package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for the CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute. Placements: About 70%-80% of students are placed. A good number of top companies visit this college to hire students for internships and jobs. The average salary package ranges from 8 LPA - 10 LPA. For the IT branch, numerous opportunities are provided by the college. The highest salary package of the college last year was 24 LPA.

Placements: Placements have increased quite much as the year passes. As the placements increased, students got placed with greater placements. Even a student with an average CGPA gets placed. There are great companies that are approaching the college and even giving great deals.

Placements: Good opportunities exist for hardworking students and decent ones for others. All the tech giants like Infosys, Amazon, etc., come here to recruit students for tech jobs, and PSUs like BHEL, IOCL, etc., come here to recruit core branch students. The college gives many opportunities.

Placements: Placement is not that good. 16 to 20% of students got placements. You can go for competitive exams. 800000 is the highest package and 200000 is the lowest package every year. Very few students, that is, 12%, got internships. ONGC was the top recruiting company here.

Placements: In my ECE course, my outgoing seniors got placed very well, but overall, the placements are average. Good companies are visiting our campus, and my outgoing seniors got packages of 35-40 lakh per annum and an average package of 10-12 Lacs per annum. It depends on your skills.

Placements: 70-80% of the students get placed in ECE. The average package offered is around 11.7 LPA, the highest is 19.20 LPA and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA to the students of the ECE branch in 2024 in the month of September and it is still ongoing. Top recruiting companies are Airtel, Oracle and Nexturn.

Placements: 70-80% of students get placed in my branch. The highest package is 19.20 LPA, the lowest is around 6 LPA, and the average is around 11.50 LPA. The major recruiting companies are Airtel, Tata, Google, Wipro, Oracle, etc. The internship ratio is good. Many students got internships in their second and third years.

Placements: Around 80-90% of students in our department got placed last year with an average package of 8 Lacs per annum and the highest package of 14 Lacs. Top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, Indian oil, etc. Many students got internships in some companies. Top students and engineers got high offers.

Placements: Mostly, 80% of students at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar got placed. The highest package was 36.5 LPA, and the average package was 1.4 LPA. NTPC, Alstom, and HDFC are the top recruiting companies at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar. Mostly, every student got an internship.

Placements: I am in the Computer Science and Engineering branch, which is the best branch at NIT Srinagar. Most students get placed every year in this branch. This year, the highest package is 39 LPA, grabbed by 2 students, and nearly 70% of students have been placed. Every year, nearly 90-110% placement occurs in this branch. There are many opportunities for internships provided by companies like Amazon, Wipro, Vedanta, Autodesk, BHEL, and others, and they also offer pre-placement offers to some students.

Placements: I have computer Science and engineering, in which 90 percent placements in this year has been recorded with average package of 13 Lacs per annum and the highest package is 40 Lacs per annum. Good companies like NVIDIA, SAMSUNG, INFOSYS, WIPRO, are top companies which hire almost every skilled students and offers good package. Almost 80 percent of students get internship opportunities in different types of companies. Top roles offers in my course are software development engineer (sde). .

Placements: 70% of the students got internships, the highest package was 19 LPA, and the lowest was 11 LPA. Companies like GAIL, IOCL, HPCL, Vedanta. 60% of students got internships from various companies and IITs like IIT Madras, IIT Delhi. The civil department is one of the oldest departments of NIT Srinagar and has the highest strength of students in the first year.

Placements: In total, 60% of students got placed with the highest package of 18 LPA and the lowest 6 LPA, with an average of 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Vedanta, L&T, HPCL. Most of the students take internships in the 3rd year; approximately 40% were there. Secretaries, HR, Managers.

Placements: My batch is really surrounded by talented students. My course is information Technology. So I personally say it very good. The highest package is around 40 lacks but in-campus, off -campus it gone to 1.3cr as one senior tells me about that. Top recruiting oracle, samsung, etc.

Placements: 70 percent placement rate in civil is above average despite the fact that most of students prepares for government job many PSU's offers different roles salary ranging between 10 to 19 LPA. In private firm L&T, banking companies, management roles are available.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students are placed on campus. The highest package is 18 LPA, the average package is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. TCS, HPCL, and Vedanta are the top recruiters in civil engineering. 50% of students go for internships, majorly in Vedanta, TCS, etc. Software developer, manager, etc. are the top roles offered.

Placements: Placement is very good here in terms of package or company. In our course on electrical engineering, 75% of the students were from the previous batch at our college. Top companies come here, like Google, Microsoft and many other MNC companies, which provide enough packages to students.

Placements: Our college provides decent placements, especially for CSE and IT. The highest package for CSE IT is 43 LPA. The average package for CSE IT is 12 LPA. Some recruiters are Samsung, Google, Microsoft, ONGC, BPCL PowerGrid, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Autodesk, etc.
