The total tuition fes of MTech ranges between INR 1.4 lakh and INR 6 lakh. Candidates are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for MTech is INR 1,000.

NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is entrance based. Candidates who have a BTech or BE qualification with minimum 50% aggregate (candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1 must obtain at least 45% aggregate) in the qualifying examination can apply for admission in the M.Tech programme. Further, candidates must appear for Karnataka PGCET or GATE (for admission through the management quota).

The seat intake for the M.Tech programme at NMIT Bangalore ranges from 18 to 24 depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates during the time of admission. Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology has a seat intake capacity of 24 for the MTech Structural Engineering course and has 18 seats each for the other specialisations.

MTech is a two-year course offered in eight specialisations, namely Defence Technology, Data Science Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Machine Design, Renewable Energy, Structural Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, etc. Candidates must complete graduation in relevant disciplines with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC/ ST and Category-1) to apply for MTech courses.

NITTE Meenakshi admission 2024 is entirely entrance based. Admission in all the undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes at the institute is made on the basis of performance of candidates in the entrance examination. NMIT does not accept any entrance exam score for admission in the Diploma level programme as admission in the Diploma programme is made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. • Candidates who belong to the Karnataka domicile and who want to take admission in the BE programme at NMIT, are required to appear for the CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka. • NMIT Bangalore M.Tech admission is made on the basis of Karnataka PGCET rank. However, candidates who want to take admission through the Management Quota can also appear for GATE exam.

Diploma is a three-year course divided into six semesters.
