Navigating Mediocrity: A candid review of Pailan college of management and technology.

Placements: There is no placement in this college; Its only suitable for a job candidate or someone who just needs a degree for GATE or any other hobbies. Although there is a regular update regarding off-campus opportunities on the college notice board,. Apart from that, its all your hard work, no role of college.

Infrastructure: All classrooms have AC and the whole campus has free Wi-Fi. But the buildings have been under development for a long time. PCMT is not very big, like other colleges in West Bengal, with the same fee. There is better infrastructure at other colleges at the same price.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and is always willing to support us. Students in CSE are very less exposed to real market demands; mostly, it is the student's hard work that can bring him success outside of college. There are CA betweem every semester, just like all MAKAUT colleges; semesters are of moderate difficulty.

Our college is the best in placements and value for money.

Placements: Almost 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Byjus, Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. Around 100% of students get internships in above mentioned companies. The roles offered are computer system analyst, project manager, web developer, computer network architect.

Infrastructure: It has a spacious classroom with an air conditioner, Wi-Fi is enabled on campus, computer laboratories, library, and everything are available. Sports and games, cultural event, fresher, farewell, Teacher's Day, Saraswati Puja, Independence Day are celebrated and workshops are organised timely in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They guide students throughout the course which leads students to get industry ready. The semester exam seems to be tough but easy to solve the paper just because of the quality of education students are provided with.

Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in different technologies and devices since my childhood. The campus is huge and beautiful takes around 1, 2 hours to visit every corner of the campus. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students. I got scholarships in the GATE Academy through our college for GATE 2 years of preparation.

Placements in 2021 are very good.

Placements: Total 10 companies visited our college like IBM, Infosys, etc. Almost 80% of the students got internships from our course last year. The maximum salary package offered is 8 lacs for 6 months, and the minimum salary package offered is 2 lacs for 6 months. On average, most of the students got internships with a salary package of between 2 to 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are available for our course like a library, labs for each practical subject, well-designed and quiet classrooms with air-conditioners. Wi-Fi is also available, but it is better to use phone data as the Wi-Fi is very slow. Hostels are not that good, so I suggest not to opt for them. Still, canteen, medical facilities and sports and games are available.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and well-qualified. Their knowledge and guidance can easily help you to crack any exam and enlighten your future. The 1st 2 semesters are totally based on basics. From the 3rd semester, the course is much relevant and makes students industry-ready. Exams are not that easy, but the overall pass percentage is very good.

Other: I have chosen this course as I can grow my knowledge about computers and designs, and I can become a good game designer. Our course offers a wide variety of jobs, and you can choose from as computer is must known and the most demanding subject nowadays.

Our college has average placements, good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that great, but it is sufficient. They provide the salary as much as you would expect an engineer to earn in India. But if you are an average student, you might face some challenges or might end up getting a low salary package.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is awesome. You will need a bus to roam around the whole Pailan group campus. It has its own theatre set up just near the engineering college. Our college offers a vast number of courses.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated. The way they explain and teach students won't forget anything if they pay attention in the class. They are very helpful. You can reach them for any help, and they will make sure the thing is done.

Other: Some events are organised every year in college, and they are entertaining.

Absolutely satisfied with the facilities.

Placements: Placements are good enough in this college. Many students got placed in TCS, Rensol, Extensia, etc., companies. Different individuals were offered different roles, such as assistant trainee. I would like to add that placements are always dependent on an individual's performance.

Infrastructure: This college has all the crucial facilities like labs, AC classrooms, and a library. There is no Wi-Fi for students (I don't think it is necessary).

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful all time. They are qualified. Their teaching quality is good.
