Other eligibility criteria
Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.

Review of Panimalar Institute of Technology.
Placements: Around 95% of students got placed in our course, and a few of them opt for startup ideas. The highest salary package offered is 2 crores per annum, and the lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Google, TCS, Wipro, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Data scientist, data engineer, etc., are the top roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Laboratories are also available. Hostel facilities are decent. Classrooms are well-equipped, and smart classrooms are available. It also provides a library, and several books were available. The mess is average. It also has its menu for food items, and the food quality is excellent. Medical facilities are nearby our campus, and our college also has it medical institute near the engineering college. It also provides a huge playground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in studies, project work, and internships. You can also do mini-projects and internships if you are interested in them. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it is related to the industries. The pass percentage is 80%.

Our college has good placements, facilities, infrastructure, etc., but has poor faculty members.
Placements: About 60% of the students get placed, and they get the lowest salary of Rs. 9,000 per month and the highest salary of Rs. 40,000 per month in top recruiting companies such as Wipro, Infosys, etc. Mostly we don't get an internship directly from our college. If we are really interested in doing an internship, we have to search for it on our own.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities in our college, such as all labs related to our course, which are fully air-conditioned. Our college focuses on Go Green. We are supposed to use the Wi-Fi facility only in the digital library. If we have to do any paper presentation or project, we can ask permission and work in the lab by logging on to the internet. There are no canteen and games facilities. We get hygiene food from our college mess, and I haven't seen any sports event other than sports day. There will be some practices for the volleyball match.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful to students to score good marks by just leaning the most important questions. They are well qualified in their PG, but I don't know whether this is enough to teach us or not. The course is really relevant to the curriculum, but it doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course just to achieve my dream.

It's good for academics.
Placements: It is a very good college for placements. Your skills can be improved. Staff is very good at students. Can be placed in worthy companies. They will help all students to get through right path with out any disturbances. Materials are provided by the college.
Infrastructure: It does not have Wi-Fi but the classrooms are very nice with big library which consists of many books. Medical college is available with 24 hours facility. It encourages sports and games. Library with lot of books and there are 4-5 computer labs with working systems with internet connectivity.
Faculty: Best faculty members. Cope up with the students. They are not friendly but caring They are helpful and encourages us in every activities. They are sometimes professional towards students.
Other: No mobiles and laptops are allowed. Fests and events are conducted in rear cases.
