Faculty members are very good, especially the data structure sir, is good.
Placements: Placements are offered, but it depends on our CGPA and the knowledge we have. Every year, a lot of companies like TCS, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc., hire students, but there are 3 rounds of interviews. The average package ranges from 8-9 LPA. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. There is a good training and placement cell.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students, but there is a practical lab. There is no hostel in college. There is a good canteen in our college. There are 4 lifts.
Faculty: The college is very strict and does not allow copying in the exam. The examination cell is very dangerous if we are caught, then they directly fail us in the exam and fine up to Rs. 3000-5000, and also take the hall ticket of students. They call parents, and till parents do not come, they do not give the hall ticket back. Teachers are good, but some are exceptional.
Other: Every year in March, it organises a fest named Zodiac.

Avoid RGIT, life will be better.
Placements: Out of 120 students, hardly 30 to 35 students get placed through campus placement in low salary based companies. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA and the average package remains near 4 LPA. Top companies even I do not know which companies come every year. If a new startup comes I will suggest going off-campus. College never gives internships, we have to find ourselves and apply for them. Top roles offered in my course are CAD experts and product managers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure from outside will look great but from the inside it is literally nothing. Classrooms are never clean, fan gives warm air instead of making the temperature cool. Library is always crowded. Food is good and at a very affordable rate. Sports is just a myth management committees lots under the name of sports.
Faculty: Faculty members don't know what they are teaching. They say they have experience in teaching for 15 years but still students fail the course. Partially makes students industry-ready but without any practical thing, it is nothing. Semester exams are difficult, no doubts are cleared. Checking is not done thoroughly.

    Reality is better than reelity.
Placements: Placement is pretty good. Almost 75% of students get placed every year per batch. Capgemini is one of the mass recruiter companies offering various roles. Internship is not provided by college which is the greatest drawback of MCT RGIT Andheri West, Mumbai.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not that great. A 6-story glass building with each floor allotted to each branch of engineering. Also, there is an opportunity to pursue master's at this college.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and supportive. Teaching skills are based on both virtual board and basic blackboard methods with practical sessions conducted in particular practical labs of each respective field. Exams conducted here are lenient and easy to crack. Faculty members here are experienced and have great teaching knowledge in all fields.
Other: I got to this college through MH-CET computer engineering.

Absolutely No Event College in Mumbai!
Placements: I think students do get placed. There are many companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T, Capgemini, and more. As I am currently new to the college, I don’t have much of an idea about that, but yes, students at RGIT get placements if they have good academics and experience throughout the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there, probably in certain rooms. Classrooms are decent, there is no AC for student classrooms or labs. The library is okay, again no AC. Canteen food is good enough, and there are no special grounds in college for sports and games; they send students to other places for such events.
Faculty: College faculty is definitely good. They have course-relevant knowledge and are always happy to help students, at least the teachers I have come across so far. The curriculum is of Mumbai University, as the college is non-autonomous, and everything is according to the MU. I still feel they don’t teach industry-relevant skills in the first year and waste the time of students on irrelevant subjects.
Other: I wish there were events. As of now, in the last 6 months, there have literally been no events in this college and no club activities. I don’t know why this is so.

    Good Infrastructure with decent placement.
Placements: At RGIT placement rate is high, especially in Computer Science and IT. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA-10 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA-5 LPA. Leading recruiting companies are Capgemini, TCS, and Zeus Learning. Above 40% attendance is compulsory.
Infrastructure: Labs are good with Wi-Fi connectivity. Classrooms are spacious. Library is also good. Hostel facility is not available, but the college helps to get PGs. The canteen food is average, not so good. Regular sports activities are conducted. There is a seperate room for medical aid. They need to add connectivity, as all computers in some labs do not have connectivity.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly good, well-experienced, knowledgeable, and multitalented in more than one subject. Teaching quality is average, some are good and some are bad. No college in Mumbai can make students industry-ready with such courses and curriculum. Semester exams depend on students, they have more time to study. The pass percentage is more than 80%.
Other: I chose CS, and the best thing about the course is that it teaches us DBMS and NoSQL, explaining why we chose NoSQL over SQL. The course-related things can be improved with more practical infrastructure.

    The best college for engineering.
Placements: My college provides good placements and has an average package of 4.5 LPA, which is not that bad for a fresher, and the highest package placement was 52 LPA, but it was off campus overall. My college is good at package placements, and many companies come to my college.
Infrastructure: My college is located in a very good area in Andheri West, near a big ocean, and the weather is always good outside. My college campus is very attractive, classrooms are well maintained, and every class room has a smart board, which makes teaching easy.
Faculty: My college takes exams very cleverly and in a disciplined manner. They change classes for every exam so that students do not copy. 1 class has at least 2 supervisors who are very active and strict. If someone is caught cheating in an exam, strict action is taken.
