Good infrastructure, placements, understanding in the department.
Placements: Top placements last year reached 50 LPA, and the average package was around 8 LPA, depending on your interests and skills. You can earn such placement packages, with high packages for CS and AIML. Be willing to put in the effort, as previous students have earned these amounts.
Infrastructure: The college offers good facilities for rooms and food for both local and non-local students. There were issues for non-Karnataka students regarding food, but in our college, they will have no issues. They can enjoy their own food styles. Wi-Fi is available for students to use anywhere on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly, and the passing mark is 40. Teachers are very helpful in studies, providing knowledge that will be useful for exams. They teach everything according to the syllabus to ensure students understand the subject.

For placements and facilities, I will give 4 stars out of 5 stars and 3 stars for infrastructure.
Placements: In the core course, the highest salary package offered by AB InBev is 13.5 LPA for SCM profiles, and the average salary package offered is around 6.5 LPA-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Caterpillar, Bajaj, HUL, JSW Steel Ltd, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, etc. Top mass recruiting companies of our college are TCS and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were clean here, and canteen facilities were pretty decent. Wi-Fi speed used to be good all the time. Labs were up to date, and teachers used to pay good attention. The library was a nice place to spend your free time by reading good books.
Faculty: The professors here are good. Semester exams aren't tough if you attend lectures. Still, if you want to score well, try to score well in the first year only because, after that, you would face a lot of pressure. The course is totally similar to mechanical engineering. Industrial engineering is a part of mechanical engineering.
Other: It is a sub-branch of mechanical engineering. About 85% of the syllabus is the same.

It is a great place to study with a good campus life.
Placements: Placements are very good in Information Science and CS branch but comparatively less in other engineering branches. Core companies coming to the campus are very less and even if they visit they do single digit hiring. But there is a good scope in IT companies like Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro which hire in large numbers. If you have a good talent accompanied with a exceptional technical skills, its easy to get placed in core companies. Companies like Amazon visit the campus every year and select students from all the branches. If you want to make your career in IT then this college is a great place. Almost 90% of students get placed every year and the average package is about 4.5 Lacs for my branch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The labs are well-equipped with updated equipment and Wi-Fi connectivity. We have three big libraries which provide books from all ranges which are essential for the course. The hostel infrastructure is also very good. The mess food is decent with varieties for both South Indian and North Indian. Proper cleaning and hygiene is maintained always.
Faculty: The teachers have a good knowledge of the course. But the only disadvantage is that they are not updated with the modern world. The curriculum is well designed and provide deep knowledge of the course. Most the faculty members are Ph.D. holders and are very supportive in nature and promote research work also.

Great student exposure and experience but lower placement packages, standards and curriculum.
Placements: Nearly everyone got placed from our college who applied for placements. The highest package was around 19 LPA whereas the lowest was nearly 2.8 LPA with average package being 3.8-4.2 LPA varying every year but not crossing that range. The top recruiters include JSW, Amazon, cognizant, etc. Internships are a part of the course hence every student completes atleast one internship during the course. Most of them complete their internships in HAL, NAL, BHEL, BEML, Toyota, Ace and many more.
Infrastructure: Our campus has a fully functional high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the college and 6 libraries (1 in each block) giving enough space and good environment to study as well as have group discussions. The classrooms are well maintained and ventilated but no air-conditioning. Labs are very much in line with the best equipments and faculty members.
Faculty: There are many experienced faculty members who guide us through anything without hesitation. There is also a proctorial system where every student is assigned a mentor who is mentoring him throughout the course like a parent. Teaching quality is very great but the curriculum is very much similar to other colleges due to which it is not a the latest inspite of being updated yearly. Every year a lot of younger faculty members are being recruited to make a better team. But it is being said that the college standards have been falling off year by year.
Other: I always had a passion for this course as it is more lively than any other courses. But it must be improved by making more practical hands on experience than studying outdated technology as the demand and significance of this course has been reducing at a high rate. This course is just seen as a sub branch of mechanical which makes us even more vulnerable to the competition hence there must be a great improvement done to the course and curriculum. There are events constantly happening throughout the year monthly once or twice conducted by the departments and one fest every semester where students are given opportunity to handle and work by themselves without any interference from college management so that students at department of extra curricular activities get to learn team work and execution in actual world experimenting management ideas and many more. The campus is in the best part of the city so has everything perfect for a college to be situated at.

I'm satisfied when it comes to choosing engineering colleges.
Placements: Almost 60-80% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 52 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.8 LPA. Volvo, L&T, Infotech, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Roles offered to the students depends on individual performance. The average salary package offered is 12 LPA. Students should also make efforts from their side. Almost 40-60% of the students got internships, and it depends on individual efforts of getting it.
Infrastructure: I'm not staying in the hostel, so I don't know much about it, but my classmates are happy with the hostel. The best thing about hostels is that you can choose which among 3 to 4 options. The infrastructure of our college is good. Even the sports department is fine.
Faculty: Teachers will help you based on the way you approach them. Faculty possess some work experience in one or the other companies. The course curriculum will be updated often to make engineers as per the industries needs. It's one of the best colleges in Karnataka.
Other: The college should provide industrial visits.

Well, it depends on the college. Some colleges have a formal policy for this and merit based selection will be done. Best suggestion would be talk to department concerned heads for the shift. Start early. Do not delay.
