Our college has good infrastructure and a diverse crowd. It is a great choice on any day.
Placements: MS Ramaiah can be considered between tier 1 and tier 2 in terms of placements. Placements start by the end of 6 th semester. To give a quick dive into the placement process, students are allowed to sit for 3 internship interviews. One is a star offer (below 10 LPA) and second is a superstar offer (below 20 LPA) and the third is a dream offer (above 30 LPA). From 2024, they have limited students to sit for one star, superstar, and one dream offer. In 2024, there are 100% placements for CSE dept. The highest salary package offered was 48.7 LPA by UI Path and the lowest salary package offered was 4.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Ui Path, Xiaomi, JP Morgan, Golden Sachs, and many more. Almost 80% of people got internships in 2024 in companies like Volvo, Cognizant, Walmart, Xiaomi, Gale, etc., as software developers.
Infrastructure: The college is well-built with a fully furnished infrastructure. The campus might seem smaller but in Bangalore, comparatively this belongs to a larger campus area. Classrooms are normal with projectors. These could have been better because they might seem small. We have 4 libraries in the entire block. Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. Labs are well equipped.
Faculty: Teachers are good, especially some are well versed in their topics with expertise. But everyone has that stereotypical South Indian accent and faculties converse with each other in Kannada. But don't worry, they never use Kannada with students and everyone understands Hindi, and English here. Overall teaching is good. From the 5th semester, you can work on your projects and projects are given by the college itself. The syllabus for the course is on point and will make students industry-ready if properly studied. We have CIE ( continuous internal exams) and see ( semester end exams) CIE's are for 30 marks, 2/semesters and the average of 2 is taken, and 20 marks for assignment are also given. Passing marks are 22 out of 50. If a student does not secure passing marks, he will be withheld from writing SEEs. Exams aren't that difficult if studied. One can easily pass the exams by studying a day before the exam if he is strong with the basics.
Other: The crowd here is diverse. People from all over India meet here. So we have a large crowd. So definately, there are no fewer clubs here. We have NSS, an entrepreneurial skills club, a dance club, a literary club, a Deca club, and many more. Sports are given the same significance as classes here. MSRIT has the most unbroken records in sports in the entire Bengaluru. People from IITs participate in the VTU Sports Meet. Fests are another great event that one shouldn't miss out on. The campus is in the heart of Mattikere, so you have good connections to the entire city and can explore places and enjoy.

Great college for placements.
Placements: Placement in CSE branch and ECE branch is pretty good; about 90%+ and 75%+ student in each branch got placed even in times of recession. The highest package offered is about 50 LPA this time; the lowest package would be about 5 or 5.5 LPA. The average package in CSE and ISE is about 12–14 LPA. Top recruiting companies include JP Morgan, IBM, HP, Oracle, Lowest, Myntra, etc. One of the guy in 2024 batch got internship in Google too. People opting our course generally get the roles of software engineer, ML engineer, front-end or back-end developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good but not excellent; the faculty is helpful and understanding and they are learning themselves too. Wi-Fi is high-speed and labs have all the essential software required. There are numerous libraries that have all the essential books and even if they are not there, we can write an application about them, and the management will get the book or articles you wrote an application for. The fresher block is pretty good, with good food. Sometimes food is bad but mostly it is eatable. The second block for seniors, called Aryabhatta Block, is pretty bad as it is very old. Sport facilities are limited but good. If you are good at anything, you can definitely get a chance to play against different colleges in Bangalore.
Faculty: The teacher are really helpful and highly qualified. The minimum criteria to be a teacher in our college is to have a minimum M.Tech. degree pursuing Ph.D. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders, and some of them did their Ph.D. at foreign universities. The course is very relevant and keeps on updating every year so the students are industry-ready. The improvement they can make is like making things more technical than making us read theory. The semester exams are easy to moderate and can be passed if you start studying prior to week of exams.
Other: I chose this course because the college is in Bangalore, which is the hub of India, and it is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. It would be much better if they could provide some scholarships for students who are from outside Karnataka. Fests and events are few at our college. Connectivity is great because it is in the main city of Bangalore and food around the college is really cheap and affordable. There are different clubs and sports that you can be a part of and keep yourself entertained.

The college is pretty chill and it encourages us to do various things.
Placements: The placements in my college are pretty much decent. The highest package offered was of 50 LPA. Mostly the students from CSE, ISE and ECE get placed with good packages. It becomes a little tough for the other branches but students mostly try for IT sector placements.
Infrastructure: The professors, teaching, labs, and buildings are very good. We even have a decent learning atmosphere and libraries with so many books. The seniors are always encouraging us to join various clubs like cell, ieee, NSS and many others. Attendance is pretty chill.
Faculty: All the faculty members are Ph.D. holders, they have immense knowledge about their subjects. They can help us with anything. We have two internals and one external and even by studying a night before the exams, we can get a good score. When it comes to corrections, the teachers are a little lenient.
Other: Campus crowd is ver decent. But when it y to the fest, it is bad.

I am satisfied with faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top companies like HP, Mercedes, etc., visit our college. The top role offered is a software developer. Many students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a perfect environment for students. Our canteen is good. The fire extinguisher is available on every floor. We have Xerox shops and 2-3 libraries. Our college has a mechanical workshop. Labs are available in our college for research work.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They always solve our doubts. Exams are decent to score well and maintain CGPA. The course curriculum is well-designed. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 35%. Our college offers courses to prepare us for interviews.

Decent with some lows, will need to tackle your way with some faculty members but its fine.
Placements: Placements are above average since RIT is one of the best colleges in VTU. Even in recession, the Institution is able to pull decent packages with the highest placements ranging around 50 LPA for 3 of the students and the highest stipend of 1,50,000. And guess what this is just the first cycle of on campus placements. There have been foreign placements in UAE with packages of 5000 AED. But also this all comes with a lot of grit, you need to put in a lot of efforts to get placements as high as this. If you work hard enough, you can expect anywhere from 12 to 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of the College is quite nice. With multiple libraries around the campus, elevators in all the buildings, and a huge quadrangle area for events, the vibrancy in Ramaiah is quite watchable. Classrooms are not that big, neither are they small. The hostel facilities and games on the other hand are disappointing, except for the Freshers Block which is probably the best stay you can find for your first year. Apart from that, all the other hostels and game facilities are not impressive. We have a doctor available every evening near the mess area. Also we have facilities of gym where you can go from morning to evening as per your convenience. WI-FI is good where it works like libraries and some specific location of your rooms.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are really good while a bunch of them are bad, especially the electronics branch. Main subjects like Math, Physics and C Language are really good but the rest of them lack in a lot of domains. The course curriculum seems relevant as it is the latest one being implemented from this batch onward according to the NEP. They also provide placement training in order to make you ready for the placements, but it goes without saying that you have to prepare a lot on your own. The exams are not that difficult, you just need to attend classes and study before 1 week. The passing percentage in total is around 40 %. The minimum attendance requirement is 85% whereas 10 % compensation can be provided on genuine reasons.
Other: I chose this course because of RIT being one of the best colleges of VTU under COMEDK. Also my interest in the field of CSE led me to do so. I would like if the minimum attendance criteria could be reduced to 75% and also some irrelevant subjects were made optional. Also it would help if the college life was a little bit more lively with more fests organised by college itself. The fees should be reduced down for COMEDK students.
