* The curriculum covers various subjects, including mathematics, science, and technology.

Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at SAL worth the investment?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at SAL worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Pros:

* Good placement record: Most students (around 60-90%) reported getting placed in reputed companies like TCS, Infosys, Byju's, and Wipro, with an average salary package ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR6 LPA.
* Industry-ready curriculum: The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for the industry, making them employable upon graduation.
* Supportive faculty: Many reviewers praised the faculty members, describing them as helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced.
* Good infrastructure: Although not exceptional, the infrastructure, including classrooms, labs, and campus facilities, is considered satisfactory.
* Extracurricular activities: The college hosts various events, festivals, and sports competitions, providing students with a well-rounded experience.

Cons:

* Limited hostel facilities: Not all students may find accommodations within the campus, requiring external arrangements.
* Slow Wi-Fi speeds: A few reviewers mentioned that the Wi-Fi connectivity in labs could be improved.
* Unhelpful faculty in some cases: A minority of students felt that some faculty members lacked enthusiasm and didn't provide adequate support.

Conclusion:
While B.E/B.Tech at SAL Institute might not offer exceptional infrastructure or state-of-the-art amenities, its strong placement record, industry-ready curriculum, and supportive faculty make it a worthwhile investment for aspiring engineers. However, students should weigh these advantages against potential limitations like limited hostel facilities and slow Wi-Fi speeds.

Note: Individual responses may vary depending on personal preferences, academic backgrounds, and expectations. These findings are based on aggregated reviews and should not be taken as a guarantee of success.

My experience in SAL college.
Placements: 1. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed from our college in good companies. 2. The highest package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA in computer engineering. 3. For our course, Hyperlink Infotech recruited the most students. 4. 90 percent of students got placed, and some of the companies were Tata, Hyperlink Infotech, Azilen Tech Pvt Ltd, etc. 5. Top roles were associate software engineer.
Infrastructure: 1. Facilities like Wi-Fi, library, AC classrooms, computer labs, canteen were available. 2. The quality of everything was very good. Periodically, cultural and sports events were also organized. Also, emergency medical facilities were available if needed.
Faculty: 1. Yes, the teachers were very helpful, and the teaching quality was also the best. 2. Yes, the course makes the students industry-ready; I wish there were more practical courses added to the curriculum. 3. The semester exams were moderate; the pass percentage was more than 99 percent.
Other: 1. I want to pursue my career in computer engineering. 2. I wish there was more practical knowledge rather than industrial knowledge.

Good for education and campus life.
Placements: Around 70 percent students get placements every year but average package is only 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are infosys, TCS and Intas. Around 50 percent students got internship from my course with very low stipend. Top roles offered are App developed and QA.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities like wi-fi in college campus. Infrastructure and management of my branch is the worst than even seen. There are only studies and lectures. Hostel is not so big. Canteen food is good but sometime it is not good for health. College hasn't medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Course is offered by gtu and it is not so difficult to study but it makes students industry ready. Sem exams are not so difficult. We can score by attending lectures properly. Pass percentage is 70 percent.

Placements and infrastructure are disappointing but the curriculum and faculty are good.
Placements: The amount of students getting placement seems to be low. The highest package was around 15 Lacs p.a. and the lowest 2-3 Lacs p.a., average being around 6 Lacs p.a. Mercedes was a recruiter last year, bringing the highest package. Honestly, only a few students get internships in this course. After graduation, mechanical engineering offers many possibilities including Aerospace engineer, automotive engineer, and many more, landing high-paying jobs in various companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The classrooms are well-designed. But it only has one library which might get crowded sometimes. There is only one canteen available, hence it gets really overcrowded during lunch hours. Network is a big issue and there is no Wi-Fi available on campus. Labs are also average since all the necessary instruments and machinery are present but it's outdated. The hotel is not bad, the rooms are spacious and the mess's food is not that good. The college does offer sports but it's really limited.
Faculty: The teachers are good. They are qualified and really helpful. However, I personally don't like their teaching style, lectures seem really dull. The course is affiliated with GTU so it is relevant. It has all the necessary basic materials to make a student industry-ready. The exams are difficult and the passing marks are 40%.
Other: I was always passionate about machinery since a young age which led me to choose mechanical engineering. The course is really complicated. It needs to be revised and some of the things need to be removed. The college does host fests often.

Good Teaching Quality and Infrastructure.
Placements: Around 80 percent students get placements in my course. The highest package offered is 18 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Average package offered is around 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS and Infosys. Around 60 percent students get internship. Top Roles offered are Manager and Assistants.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college and hostel are quite good. All Campus is clean and have facilities like wi-fi and AC rooms. All classrooms and labs have AC and marker boards with high-speed wi-fi. Hostel facilities are average because mess food is not much hygienic. College has in-campus Canteen and Medical services. Sports grounds are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is perfect. Course is provided by Gujarat University and it is very good and difficult also. It surely makes students industry ready Semester exams are difficult. You have to study and attend lectures properly to score.

Good Campus and Infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60 percent students get placements every year. The highest package is 18 LPA and the lowest package is approximately 3 LPA. Average package offered is 6 LPA. Good campus but not for studies.
Placements: So we have a total of 120 students in our course from one college. The highest package is 13 lacs per year and the average package is between 5 and 6 lacs. Recruiting companies like TCS and others. So I do not know about the internship, which took some time to get me in last year.
Infrastructure: So we have WiFi and a classroom, and the strength of the classroom is nearly 100. We also have libraries, but not many books are available labs are medium, and there are not many instruments. So we do not have any hostels from college and in the canteen, food is not very good and we have sports and games like chess, carrom, volleyball, and basketball.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and many of them have completed their Masters and some of them do PhDs. So yes, some of the course is relevant but not much for preparing for industries. So semester exams are a bit difficult but not much. Passing marks are 23 from 70 in the end exam and 12 from 30 in the mid exam.
Other: I chose this course because I like math and I love computers, and the best thing is you have to do practicals. So we have sports day and many other days like signature day, Bollywood day, carnival fests, and Navratri.
