POV Shyam Lal College things.
Placements: Maybe 20-30% got placements in higher companies from this course, with a package of about 30-40 LPA. Companies from the US, Microsoft, and others recruit the most probably from our course. It is easy to get an internship in your end semester of every year for like 2 months.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs have quite good facilities and classrooms are kind of good. The library has AC facility, so it's good to study in there. Canteen food is fine and quite hygienic. Hostel is not available in the college, so people have to take PG for regular hours of college. The playground is a big area to play cricket and other games.
Faculty: Faculty is quite good and helpful and highly qualified for the course. They are highly concerned about things, and their teaching style is quite good, especially for the Chemistry course. They are highly knowledgeable about the course and they provide enough knowledge to study. They teach us theories and practicals too. Semester examination is just medium. If we study enough the whole semester, we can easily get passed in it. The pass percentage is 68% for both semesters.
Other: This course provides enough knowledge about the subjects. It has practicals and labs so we also gain practical knowledge. Many events and games took place in this college, and it got so crowded when it happens. The campus area is not too big.

Good college means Shyam Lal College.
Placements: 80% of the students were placed in my course. The highest package was 6 lacs per annum, and the lowest package was 2 lacs per annum. Flipkart, Airtel, Godrej, and Jio, etc., are some of the companies that recruit here. 60% of students got internships at companies like Airtel and Flipkart. Executive and post-executive, etc., are some of the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, a library, a playground, an amphitheater, a porch area, a canteen, an open stage, and well-decorated classes with AC, etc., are available. There is no hostel. The food is well-hygienic and delicious. Medical facilities are available in the college. Every sport is available, both indoor and outdoor.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and have Ph.D.s. They are very friendly and helpful. Their teaching skills are the best. The course curriculum is relevant because it teaches us many other things which are important for a student's future. It makes the students industry-ready. The exams are not so much hard but more than moderate. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I like math, and the best thing about my course is getting to attend the daily physics and chemistry labs. Everything is perfect, in my opinion. There are 7 events a year. The campus crowd is fabulous. Connectivity is very good. Scholarships are available for students who need them. For extracurricular activities, societies are formed, like a debating society, a photography society, a dance society, and a singing society, etc.

Memorable experience at Shyam Lal College.
Placements: For the placements, our college, Shyamlal, has an in-house training and placement cell where you can learn real-life skills. For overall development, you can learn from various courses and teachers. Mostly, students who secure placements in our college get job roles like sales executive, consultant, lead generator, data entry operator, etc. The average package that you can expect is enough, ranging from 3-4 lakh to the highest package of 7-8 lakh.
Infrastructure: Our college campus has two main buildings, and both are well constructed. We have a canteen in our college where you can find a variety of food items at very cheap prices. Our college library is really good and one of my favourite places of study in our college. Here you will find all reference books and other preparation books like SSC CGL, UPSC, etc. Our college is the only DU college which has its own football ground, kho kho ground, cricket ground, and Kabaddi ground, as well as an attractive front side clock, which is the sign of our college.
Faculty: I am a BSc physical science with chemistry student here and I wanted to complete my graduation in Science stream. Overall, my academy experience is really great. Our all maths, chemistry, and physics departments are good, and teachers complete their syllabus and practicals before exams. My friends from BA and BCom departments also like their teachers; they are very supportive. You can clear your doubts anytime. Some teachers also organise you; you can easily pass exams by studying from their notes or just practicing a few questions from your reference books.
Other: What makes a college really good is its infrastructure, teachers, clubs, extra-curricular activities, and securities. If you are finding these things in a college for you, then you will find everything best in our Shyamlal College. Yes, it's an O-campus college with expensive fees as compared to North Campus colleges, but our college is one of the most beautiful and renowned colleges of Delhi University. When I got this college in my seat allocation system, I was also worried and was thinking that this college is good or not, but I will say now that yes, it is a very good college, and you can join NCC or NSS or you can be a member of any sport like cricket, volleyball, or Kho Kho by passing their trials. The campus is really neat and clean. The campus also has a nursery with trees and greenery.

Review by a student of Shyam Lal College.
Placements: SLC placement infrastructure is not good, but if you are doing well, you can get placed. From our batch, I think only 25% of students got placed. No companies come to recruit students in my course, but during the placement session, companies come for B.Com and computer science students and recruit them.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel available at Shyam Lal College. But the college infrastructure is good; Shyam Lal holds an NAAC A+ grade overall. The campus is very good. Wi-Fi service is available with good speed. Labs and classrooms are also good. But in the reading room and computer lab, there are students who talk loudly instead of reading. Canteen food is good, and there is a fruit juice shop in the canteen area. Shyam Lal College has a very good sports culture.
Faculty: The faculty is very supportive. If you give them respect, they will help you with your academics. The curriculum is good. Generally, the session starts in August for the 1st and 3rd semesters and ends in December. Then there is a 10-day leave before the 2nd and 4th semesters, which start in January and end in June. There is a lot to do in our curriculum in a semester, but all the teachers are good and supportive.
Other: Such a crowded campus. Small campus but so good and clean.

Satisfied with the faculty but dissatisfied with campus area. Not too good placements.
Placements: 20% of students were placed in our course. I got an internship from our course. College doesn't provide many placement offers. This course has the lowest or average package offered yet. Top companies haven't received any of these course students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi availability is low, washrooms have the worst maintenance, labs are average, classrooms are average, and infrastructure is not well maintained. Overall, hygiene is not good, and the canteen is also not hygienic. The campus area is not big enough for festivals or any events.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful, but some of their teaching methods are not too good. I don't think this course makes students industry-ready. It depends on how well the student learns. Semester exams are not too difficult. Pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Events are good, many fests are conducted, it does provide scholarship and society of sits or plays, music, dance, etc.
