Our college provides very good placements.
Placements: Placements are average for our course. A lot of companies visit our college to offer placements. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. B.Com students got many placements. The interview procedure is smooth because of the portal.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very good with air-conditioners. Wi-Fi is available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and cooperative. Semester exams are not difficult but it is a little difficult to score well in our course.
Other: I chose this course as I love literature. This course is interesting as it gives a lot of information about the diverse history. Literature is the best form of understanding history. Lashkara is the fest organised in our college and has multiple societies of which theatre society is the best.

I would really say that the placement cell should improve a lot to become better.
Placements: As far as the placements are concerned, there aren't any for students pursuing courses like Political Science, English History and more. The placements are there mostly for students from B.Com and other Commerce and Science courses. The opportunities provided for others are too low.
Infrastructure: I would definitely rate my college's infrastructure to be one of the best because it is air conditioned. The library and the compute labs are very well-equipped. The auditorium, grounds and even classrooms are decent and clean. The sports grounds are way too big and look beautiful specially in spring season.
Faculty: Except for 1-2 teachers, all others are extremely helpful and passionate about their subject. They give in- depth knowledge and share endless things with you to make you understand even the tiniest of concepts which is commendable. Teachers work really hard and give extra classes as well.
Other: I chose this course because I was highly interested in literature studies and the faculty made it possible for me to get deeper into my interests. The college is at walking distance from Vishwavidyala metro station and there's no need to hire any rickshaws. Campus life is best enjoyed here as a variety of people study here. The fests and the organising teams do a great job each year.

Our college gives a good college life.
Placements: Placement cell needs a lot of improvement and a lot of work is needed. Top companies recruit students but the salary package is not that attractive. The average salary package is 3 to 4 LPA. Students get internships mostly in the field of content writing.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but it barely works. Labs, libraries, etc, are well-equipped. There are air-conditioners in classrooms. Hostel is a bit expensive but it has a lot of facilities. Canteen is big and food is fine. Playground and basketball court are big.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and extremely helpful. Teaching quality is good. Exams are a little difficult but passable.
Other: There should be improvement in the curriculum and addition of new novels should be made in the course instead of repeating the usual.

It is one of the best colleges for English Honours, with the best faculty and an amazing library.
Placements: There are no companies that will hire a graduate with an English Honours degree. As far as other courses are concerned, the average salary package offered by the college is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. It totally depends upon the course one opts for.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in SGTB Khalsa College are huge and air-conditioned. The rest of the north campus colleges don't provide air conditioners in classrooms, but Khalsa does. This is probably one of the reasons why Khalsa's fee is relatively a bit more than the rest of the north campus colleges. Khalsa's library is one of the best. It has the best quiet atmosphere. It has a huge space dedicated to reading. The library also has an air conditioner. If you are taking admission in English honours, then the facilities provided by Khalsa College in terms of classrooms and library would suffice. The library is the best place to spend time reading critical materials and books. As far as the canteen is concerned, it provides fresh food at a subsidised price. It provides non-veg and veg food. Khalsa is among the top DU colleges in terms of sports. It is the biggest ground on the north campus. It is one of the colleges that promote sports as equally as academics. It also provides a sports quota to students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our English department were the best. I had many friends going to other colleges at DU, and I always found them complaining about not being taught well. Teachers at Khalsa are very hard-working, knowledgeable, and cooperative. Each teacher leaves no stone unturned in teaching. The curriculum, syllabus, and exams are set by Delhi University itself. Khalsa follows the same guidelines offered by the university. You can refer to previous year's question papers to understand the difficulty level of exams. As far as internal assessments are concerned, if you are a regular student, then you will find no difficulty while appearing for exams. Teachers teach extremely well.
Other: I chose this course because I liked reading literature, and I will never regret opting for it. It has helped me gain so much knowledge about history, politics, society, and literature from Europe, India, Africa, America, etc. You get to study the literature from every significant year in history until modern literature as well. It evokes the ability in oneself to question the normative and think beyond the circumstances we live in. It helps one develop the habit of critical thinking. Had it not been for my teachers, we would have never been able to look at life the way we do now. The English department has its own departmental society, the Literary Society, and it holds annual and semester-based events. They include all the interesting things a bookaholic would enjoy. As a part of the society, you get to organise the event, arrange sponsors, be a part of the creative team, write content for the whole event, and a lot more. As a part of society, the department also provides a certificate for every member. The English Department also has its own magazine, Echo. You get to work with the teachers, and they help you improve your writing skills. You can publish your write-ups, essays, poems, etc.

Enjoy the best vibe of college life .
Placements: The placements of the college is really impressive. IGNITE - The placement cell does incredible jobs by bringing in various internships from Chegg India, Times Internet, WWF etc. Mostly 70% of the students in our course look for content marketing internships with stipend of around 2k p.m.
Infrastructure: The college is located at walking distance from vishwavidhayalaya metro station. It has a large building with many e learning labs, computer labs, Science laboratories, aqua research center, basketball court etc. Our college has one of the largest ground in the campus. The canteen is pretty good with affordable rates. One might also enjoy langar during festive season.
Faculty: B.A. ( hons) English is a very intellectual course and is by far the most interesting one. One can read through various civilations, most prominent poetry and art of each times. The faculty is very knowledgeable, linking current life situations for a better understanding. The examination question usually comes from critical understanding of the text which can be attempted easily. Only loophole is that you have to read and write a lot in order to grasp a good score which is around 7 CGPA.
