Register and Apply
Interested candidates have to register online with required information. Non-refundable online registration fee is a mandate without which candidate’s application would not be considered for further processing. Candidate has to select preferred course at the time of registration, there is no limit on the maximum number of courses in which the candidate can apply and there is no additional fee for applying in multiple courses. Final Selection
Admission is based on the marks obtained in qualifying exam. Selected list of admitted candidates would be displayed on the DU admission portal. Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: There are around 60 students in our course. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Decathlon, Bajaj, etc. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top roles offered are analysts, research associate, etc. Interested students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good. Our college provides facilities like proper labs with all apparatus, fully furnished classrooms with proper boards and projectors, and a huge library with all course-related books. The food served in the hostel is nutritious, healthy, and hygienic. Our college provides outdoor and indoor sports facilities like a basketball court, a table tennis court, etc.

Faculty: Our teachers are experienced, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. They provide us with theoretical and practical knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant as it covers a lot of interesting subjects of physics and makes students excel in all subjects. It makes students ready for future and higher studies. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate to difficult and depends on the time invested by students in their studies. The pass percentage is 98%.

Other: I opted for this course because it provides many career opportunities. A physics degree trains you to become an expert problem solver. The best thing about our course is that you can apply for research and scientist in top organisations like DRDO, ISRO, etc. Our college should provide more internships. Every year, Nexus annual fest is organised in our college, which is very vibrant and fun. The campus crowd is very good. The campus is located at a prime location with connectivity to Durgabai Deshmukh's south campus. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities. Our college has a music society and a dance society.

I am a little dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: In our course, many placements are not available but a lot of internships are provided to students. Perks of these internships are certificate of completion and stipend up to Rs.30,000 are provided. Some recruiting companies are Girl Power Talk, Hike, Skilible, Fiesta, and Neeti Shastra.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities provided by the college are Wi-Fi, well-ventilated classrooms, labs, a library, etc. The classroom does not have an air-conditioning facility. Library has a limit of issuing 4 books for a duration of 14 days. The quality of food served in the canteen is good but that of the mess is of average quality.

Faculty: Teachers of our department aren't so supportive regarding the uplift of a student who is less compared to others. Teachers are helpful regarding academics. Doubts are cleared easily and teachers are highly accessible. Semester exams are neither so difficult nor so easy.

Sri Venkateshwara College Review.

Placements: Around 30 to 40 percent of students from my course get placed. The highest package offered last year in our course was 9 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies from our college are AON CONSULTING, BECK BENCHERS, EY INDIA, DELOITTE INDIA. The highest placement offered last year was 2,100,000 per annum and the median package offered was 600,000 per annum and the average package offered was 650,000.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and our course is good. All the necessary equipment required for our course is available and equipment required for lab classes is available. The campus is lush green and classrooms are well equipped with fans, smart boards, and projectors. All the buildings are well maintained. There are grounds available for all sports like basketball, tennis, cricket, and football.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful towards students. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable in their subject, and their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very good because it not only includes theoretical knowledge but also an equal amount of practical knowledge of the subject. As mentioned above, the course provides practical knowledge of the subject, which makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not very difficult; exams are of moderate level and the passing criteria for exams is a minimum of 40 percent in both theory and practical exams.

Other: I chose this course because I have great interest in Physics and Mathematics. The best thing about this course is that you get to learn about various phenomena that happen regularly in our daily life. The thing which can be improved, according to me, in this course is that knowledge about programming languages should be provided, which will help us to make simulations of the experiments we perform in the lab and make us more industry-ready. Many events are regularly organized by different societies and clubs. The college fest is known as NEXUS and is organized in the months of March and April. The metro station is only 50 meters from the college main gate, and Dhula Kuan bus stand is around 1 km away. Scholarships are provided by the college on family income and merit basis.

Absolutely satisfied with the amazing crowd and good faculty.

Placements: Currently I'm pursuing B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics and I'll pass out in 2024. About 60 students are there in the Physics batch. The highest package offered is 24 LPA, the average package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package being 2.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course is Google and HCL. A number of foreign universities also come for offering higher education. About 85% students got internships. The top roles offered are in research department.

Infrastructure: At the moment, construction is going on in our college so there are lot of noises and disturbances around the campus. Some old blocks in the campus are damn good and are available for our ongoing classes. The whole campus is equipped with Wi-Fi facility providing high-speed data. A big library with a reading room is there in our campus providing spectrum of books for all courses. The hostel area is in a prime location in the campus. Proper mess facilities with good quality food is there in the hostel. A doctor is allocated in the campus for medical emergencies. Various indoor and outdoor sports are available such as football, basketball, and table tennis.

Faculty: The faculty in our Physics department is amazing. They are quite knowledgeable, very helpful and are very qualified. They are putting out lots of research papers. The teaching quality and the course curriculum is relevant. The deep knowledge makes us future ready. The semester exams in college are on a moderate to difficult level. The pass percentage of the college is around 94%.

I am satisfied because of the great teachers, good placements, and really good crowd.

Placements: My course is B.Sc (Hons. ) Physics program and I'll pass out of college in the year 2024. A roundabout 60 students are there in my course. The highest package offered is 24 LPA and average package is 12 LPA and the lowest package is 2.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Google, HCl, Accenture, Wipro, etc. A good amount of students in my course got the internship that is 90% in Accenture and all the companies mentioned above.

Infrastructure: At the moment construction is going on in our college resulting in a chaotic environment. Apart from this good classrooms are available for our ongoing classes. The whole campus of the college is in a good network zone with good Wi-Fi facilities. A very big library with all books for all courses is present. The hostel of our college is quite good and in a peaceful area of the campus. Proper housing facilities and tasty meals are available in the canteen. There are a lot of indoor and outdoor games available.

Faculty: The faculty of the Physics department in our college is quite knowledgeable. They are very helpful and qualified with a great level of intellect. The teaching quality and the course curriculum are quite apt and give us proper knowledge in all fields of Physics and make us ready for the future. The semester exams in college are on a moderate to difficult level. The pass percentage of the college is around 100%.
