Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Review of Thakur College Of Engineering College, Kandivali (E), Mumbai.
Placements: That is one of the institutions that provides in - hand campus placement with over 200+ companies, including the most reputed ones like Meta, TCS, BSE, Asian Paints, Air India, etc. TCET holds up a 95% placements rate, with remaining 3% for graduate's degrees and 2% for startups.
Infrastructure: TCET has all the stuff that a reputed college should have: libraries and reading rooms, a campus with a garden, and a canteen. This college have three hostels. One hostel is only for students but there is no mess, and this fee is 60000. other two hostels are for family students; they can live together. This hostel has AC, washing machines, etc. This hostel rent is 16,000 per year.
Faculty: The faculty is helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. Almost all of the core faculty and teachers have done Ph.D.s in their specified subjects, which is an honors degree. The course curriculum is relevant and there are also many other extra subjects to help students get industry-ready .
Other: As per government policies, college give scholarships for OPEN and OBC category students. For OPEN category, they required EWS Certificate and an income certificate. For OBC category, they required an income certificate, a caste validity certificate, etc.

Absolutely good college. Placement mostly depends on you and your skills. Just don't give up champ.
Placements: Placement depends on you. There are people who are not serious but you have to do coding on your own. Companies offer a good package around 8 LPA minimum to people who have basic coding knowledge. Top recruiters where jp morgan, oracle, mu sigma, Infosys .
Infrastructure: I don't live in it bt my friends do live in it. Hostel is not good. No food is available in hostel. They just give a room and u have to do everything in it. There is no Wi-Fi facility. It is not a proper hostel it is just an apartment room. Medical facilities are also not there.
Faculty: You can easily pass the exam with 9+ CGPA if u attend the college lecture. Faculty is experienced some of them are not good but most of the teacher explain very good. It is Designed in such a way that students are industry ready and get good placement.

The college infrastructure, teachers are good and supportive, and the placements are also decent.
Placements: 69% of students were placed out of the students who chose placement as an option. There are two more categories, i.e., higher studies and entrepreneurship. The highest package was ~19.5 lacs and the lowest was 3 lacs. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, VIC IT services, Capgemini, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is A-class. The classrooms are good, the library and reading room are good too, and the campus is always clean. The food in the canteen is good, and the canteen is big, but you may get space to sit only if you reach early. The drinking water is clean.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive and are good at teaching. The teachers are highly qualified, and their information is listed on the college website. The course includes extracurricular activities to make us industry-ready, and the exams are of medium to easy level to pass.

Good college with affordable fees.
Placements: Placement is quite good here as many companies visit the campus and the placement graph have increased in past few years. The highest package in 2021 was 44 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Many students got internship in third year. Everything is good but during placement drive, they take 18k from students for placement training and other stuff.
Infrastructure: Facilities in department include good classrooms with projectors. There is no availability of Wi-Fi except in the reading room. Computer lab is there. Libraries are average and you will find required books there. In hostel, a room is shared by four students. No mess, canteen, or any sports and games is there. Students have to go for some tiffin services for food. No facilities are provided in the hostel except for a room.
Faculty: Some teachers are good and well qualified. Teachers only teach you how to pass the exam rather than giving practical knowledge except for a few. In Electronics and Telecommunications, they train students well during practicals. Semester examinations are not tough if you have studied well. Passing percentage is usually 60-70.

Overall, it's a decent college.
Placements: Top companies do come for recruitment, and the college also provides summer internships. Approximately 60% of companies begin pre-placement talks (PPTs) and internships. The main placement season typically starts at the beginning of the final year and may continue until the end of the year.
Infrastructure: Modern classrooms are equipped with projectors and whiteboards for effective teaching. Some classrooms provide proper internet connectivity for enhanced learning experiences, with labs providing software to work with, and every classroom with two air conditioning units.
Faculty: Faculty also help us with any query. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees such as M.T., Ph.D., or equivalent in their respective fields. Many have years of experience and have worked in industry or research, bringing practical insights into the classroom.
Other: Events and fests are satisfactory.
