It is a unique experience. Though semi-autonomous, it works on students with full effort.
Placements: 60% students are placed from our college and others go for jobs and higher studies. The average package is around 5-8 lacs, depending upon the company. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, etc. Everybody does internship provided by the departments in core or in any IT-related field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is super good, plus it is maintained. Labs, classrooms and libraries are fully air-conditioned. For each subject, we have individual labs with proper equipment and safety measures. The quality of food in the canteen is good, and hygienic and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. They help us in searching for our semester-end projects. Innovative exams are conducted every semester. All this makes students industrial-ready and able to cope with the outside world. Exams are easy if we study on time and the pass percentage is roughly 40%. The average CGPA of our branch is 7.5 and above .
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to. The best thing about my course is to learn about machines and its machinery practically and with enthusiasm. To improve in our syllabus, more advanced technologies should be elaborated. We have a number of events, like the Spark Sojourn, etc.
