College with best facilities and knowledge.
Placements: More than 90% of people got placement. The highest package was 42 Lacs per annum, the lowest was 6 Lacs. In electronics and telecommunication engineering. The most required companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and several startups. Some startup companies have offered internships, and you can even get a placement there.
Infrastructure: 1. They have a great classroom with the availability of a projector and mics. 2. They have great Wi-Fi and a great library with an excellent book collection. 3. Hostels are quite good but the mess is not that good I will give 5/3 to mess food. 4. But apart from that great cleaning, security and management. 5. There are 2 vast canteens with a good menu.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are best here. They are very helpful to students and also, talented in their subjects. 2. College offers not only subject knowledge but also they have great projects, and assignments, which are helpful for placement. 3. The exams are quite difficult, but it is easy to achieve if you constantly work hard. The average percent is like 6 CGPA.
Other: 1. I am happy to learn about software and hardware. 2. I think more placement and career opportunities should be provided. 3. I think college has best in their clubs, events and other activities which you will never be able to forget. 4. I also even want to mention about vit senior as they are most cool seniors, I have ever seen in any college.

I am Absolutely Satisfied Because of Proficient Staff, Good Placement Every Year
Placements: I am studying in the last year of my B.Tech Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology. Our college has a 90% placement rate with an average placement package of 5-6 LPA. The highest package offered was 42 LPA by NVIDIA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA by TCS. Top recruitment companies for our college are Deutsche Bank, Barclays, NVIDIA, Siemens, IBM, Cadence, Blackrock, etc., while mass recruiters include Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. Normally, companies come for the roles of software engineer, data analyst, and some hardware roles.
Infrastructure: For Electronics and Telecommunication, we have free Wi-Fi available in each lab. There are many labs with continuing computers and a special lab with all Mac PCs. Labs contain all the instruments in working condition for practical purposes, so it's good. The college hostel is far from the college but has good, clean rooms with a mess for breakfast and two meals a day. However, it is quite costly, around one lakh rupees for each academic year.
Faculty: The faculty is good; some teachers are very strict while others are supportive and open-minded, like Vijay Mane Sir. Teaching is very thorough. The curriculum is mainly focused on software, even for core branches, as the college believes the IT sector has better placement opportunities than core sectors. Although some core companies do visit, they come less frequently. Semester exams are relatively easy, and academics are mainly project-dependent rather than theoretical.
Other: I chose this college because I wanted to be in a good and excellent environment for my overall development in life. The best thing I find for Electronics and Telecommunication at VIT is the knowledge of both hardware and software, which provides an edge in this competitive world. There are multiple clubs and events at VIT, which are good for overall development.

Absolutely dissatisfied with college
Placements: almost 75% of students got placed last year. The highest package received by an individual is 42 lpa given by Nvdia.Top recruting companies in vit are deutsche bank, barclays, nvidia, seimens, oracle etc. And there are almost 20% students who got internship in 3rd year of college at the above listed companies. Most of the hiring was for software development roles
Infrastructure: Wifis are available in all the classrooms, labs are there will full working pcs in computer department but in other departments pcs are not working. There are 3,4 canteens in vit pune. The library is good having all the needed books available.Multiple events happen which consist of cricket, basketball, vollyball and all popular sports.
Faculty: I don't think that there is a lot in vit pune from learning perspective. But if you want to enjoy your 4 years of degree with just fun and timepass stuff then vit is a good choice. There teachers demotivates you especially of Electronics and Telecommunication branch. And the transparacy in the marks is not been maintained by vit pune.I
Other: I would recommend you to choose Computer or any computer related streams in vit. Because I am from Electronics department so from my experience you should not choose any other branch simply because when you will look at others around you having so much fun you will get demotivated and bad habits will start hitting you

The beauty of one of the best colleges in Pune named Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
Placements: Many students from VIT Pune have been placed in brilliant companies with an average package of 15-20 LPA, sometimes even higher. About 70% of the students have been placed through campus placements. In my branch, students have the opportunity to join both IT and electronics core companies, which benefits them by getting placed faster.
Infrastructure: The campus area is quite small, with four buildings of different branches, a small playground, a lawn, and beautiful greenery. There are three canteens offering the best food, and hostel services are provided for both girls and boys. Regular medical checkups and fitness camps are also available.
Faculty: The teachers at VIT Pune are highly qualified with esteemed degrees and have a brilliant way of teaching. They are very helpful and kind. The study plan at VIT Pune is excellent, with good and proper planning of exams and their execution. The semester exams are moderately difficult, and the passing percentage of students is 90% and above.
Other: The events at VIT Pune are crazy because of its excellence and fun clubs.

Good placements ,good campus and average professors.
Placements: Above 95% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 33 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. More than 70% of students got good internships. There were 25 students who got a 75k stipend, and also many students who got 30k to 15k stipends.
Infrastructure: Faculty is good, and the campus size is decent. The hostel is below average, so many of the students prefer PG. The hostel is not up to the mark, but the college has two good canteens that are above average. The infrastructure of the college is also decent, big enough, but you don't get a full-sized ground to play. There is a rectangular half-ground where students play.
Faculty: The faculty is good enough and also experienced enough to help the students whenever they need it. Most of the staff there is nice. First-semester exams are easy as the college is autonomous, but from the 2nd year onwards, things become more difficult than in the first year. The course is mostly relevant, and it is on the student to make themselves industry-friendly.

Q:   Is VIT Pune good for MCA?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the strengths and weaknesses of VIT Pune for pursuing Master of Computer Applications (MCA):

Strengths:

* Good Placement Record: The college has a reputation for providing decent placements, with many students getting recruited by top companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, and others.
* Experienced Faculty: The professors are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive, helping students build strong foundations in computer applications.
* Industry-Oriented Curriculum: The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for real-world challenges, focusing on practical skills and projects.
* Autonomy: As an autonomous institution, VIT Pune has the freedom to design its own curriculum, allowing for flexibility and innovation.

Weaknesses:

* High Fees: Compared to other colleges, VIT Pune has relatively high fees, which might be a deterrent for some students.
* Limited Infrastructure: The college campus is quite small, and there are limitations when it comes to facilities like parking spaces and sports grounds.
* Course Curriculum Needs Update: While the curriculum is industry-focused, some students felt that it could benefit from incorporating newer technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
