VIT Pune: The Beauty of Simplicity.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in VIT is very decent, comprising over 90% of the students getting placed. This year, the average package of CSE is considered to be 10 LPA+. The highest-ever placement of VIT Pune is 50 LPA+, while the lowest placement is 2–3 LPA and even unplaced. The top recruiting companies are Microsoft, NVIDIA, Whirlpool, Reliance, etc. Even the internships are very decent, and the students are getting internships as early as in the 4–5th semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is very good, and as the AIML scene is booming, the curriculum is completely based on project-based learning, which improves the students' capabilities. About hostels, they are very bad; the rooms are quite decent, but the mess is utter ***. It's just very bad, with no hygiene or taste.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and relevant according to the curriculum standards. They are well-qualified, and teaching has been good since the second year. First-year teachers are somewhat not very good, but fine, I guess, but they are very great afterward. The course curriculum is the best thing about our course, as it is a very growing field. Even though it's recession time, the course is overall very good. Semester exams are very easy as they are based completely on the curriculum. The minimum pass percentage is approximately 40%.

Strengths:

* Good Placement Record: The college has a reputation for providing decent placements, with many students getting recruited by top companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, and others.
* Experienced Faculty: The professors are knowledgeable, experienced, and supportive, helping students build strong foundations in computer applications.
* Industry-Oriented Curriculum: The course curriculum is designed to prepare students for real-world challenges, focusing on practical skills and projects.
* Autonomy: As an autonomous institution, VIT Pune has the freedom to design its own curriculum, allowing for flexibility and innovation.

Weaknesses:

* High Fees: Compared to other colleges, VIT Pune has relatively high fees, which might be a deterrent for some students.

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
