IIT Roorkee released the GATE 2025 chemical engineering syllabus on the GATE’s official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The detailed syllabus is also available in the GATE 2025 information brochure. GATE 2025 Chemical Engineering (CH) Syllabus and Exam Dates

IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The entrance test will be conducted in two phases - Morning (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). The GATE Chemical Engineering will be held on February 16, 2025, in the forenoon session (9:30 am to 12:30 pm). Candidates appearing for the GATE 2025 exam must carry their hall ticket and identity proof to the GATE exam centre. 

The GATE CH paper comprises sections on engineering mathematics and subject-specific subjects. Candidates can check the GATE 2025 Chemical Engineering syllabus below-

IIT Madras BTech cutoff 2024 got released across multiple specialisations. Based on the Round 1 seat allotment, to get into IIT Madras, students must score between 159 and, 9912 for the General AII India category. Q:   What is the syllabus for GATE exam?

A:

GATE Syllabus have 3 major sections namely General Aptitude, Engineering Mathematics, and Chosen subject.

GATE General aptitude syllabus is based on intermediate level general understanding to test aptitude of candidates. However, Engineering mathematics and chosen subject's syllabus will be of graduation level. A candidates must expect good undergraduate level question from the syllabus in the GATE exam.

The distribution of questions in all papers except AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, XH, and XL, the marking distribution is as follows - General Aptitude (15), Engineering Mathematics (13 marks), and Subject-specific (72).

The distribution of questions in AR, CY, EY, GG, MA, PH, XH, and XL is as follows - General Aptitude (15) and Subject-specific (85). 

Q:   How much CAT percentile is required for DMS IIT Delhi?

A:

DMS IIT Delhi cutoff 2023 to Management courses including MBA is based of valid CAT scores. For DMS IIT Delhi MBA admission, students must meet both the overall CAT cut off percentile and the sectional cut off. Tabulated below is CAT percentile for DMS IIT Delhi cutoff for General category students for last two years:

Q:   Can I join a B.Sc course at IIT Madras without giving JEE?

A:

IIT Madras BSc admission is entrance-based as the institute primarily accepts the rank and scores of the JEE Main examination for admission to its full-time BSc programme. However, if candidates wish to apply for the integrated BS plus MS programme, then they can apply for admission through the scores of the IISER Aptitude Test. Therefore, you can join the BSc course at IIT Madras without giving the JEE.   

GATE 2025 Chemical Engineering (CH) Syllabus: Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of the GATE 2025 chemical engineering (CE) question paper has a total mark of 100 in English. The exam will be conducted online and will last three hours. The marking scheme of the GATE Chemical Engineering question paper is as follows -

  • General Aptitude - 15 marks
  • Engineering Mathematics - 13 marks
  • Subject-specific questions -  72 marks

For a one-mark MCQ, a 1/3rd mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. For a 2-mark question (MCQ), a 2/3rd mark will be deducted for an incorrect answer. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers to MSQ or NAT questions.

Yes. You have a very high chances of getting selected in the  NIT Durgapur admission with such a great score. In 365 marks in GATE exam you can get admission but it depends on the cutoff which is not revealed yet. You can use Shiksha's rank predictor for that.
