JEE Advanced 2020 likely to be held in August said the HRD Minister. Read below to know the details.
JEE Advanced 2020: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is likely to conduct the JEE Advanced 2020 exam in the month of August, said the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
Today, the HRD minister has conducted a live webinar with the students from all over the country. JEE Main 2020 April exam and JEE Advanced dates were postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.

The minister also said that the coaching centres are closed as they can cause problems to ensure social distancing and restrict the spread of the Coronavirus. Candidates are suggested to prepare by means of self-study for avoiding loss of studies due to this.
The JEE Advanced was earlier scheduled to be conducted in May that has been postponed after the postponement of JEE Main 2020 April exam.
JEE Advanced is conducted every year by for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). In a decision by the Joint Admission Board last year, the top 2,50,000 candidates of JEE Main are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2020.
Another key decision is to hold the JEE Advanced exam in the United States for the first time. A JEE Advanced examination centre will be set up in the San Francisco area to serve this purpose.
