B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2025
Offered by Vidyavardhini's College of Engineering and Technology
2.8

Our college faculty is not that good.
Placements: The lowest salary package is 1.5 to 2 LPA and the highest salary package is 22 LPA. We have to do a free internship till the final year for knowledge. Around 30 to 35% of students get placed. Companies like Coca-Cola will offer a good salary package.Civil and mechanical engineering has no placements.
Infrastructure: College provides no hostel. Wi-Fi service is bad. They don't give Wi-Fi access to the student. Quality of the canteen is very bad. Canteen is temporarily closed. There is no big playground for sports and no importance for sports.
Faculty: Semester exams are very difficult. Pass marks are 32 out of 80 marks and 24 for 60 marks. Teaching quality is very bad.

This college provides good quality education with good placements and facilities.
Placements: More than 80% of students are placed at good companies. The highest salary package offered is around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Infosys, L&T Infotech, Barclays, Byjus, TCS, and many other companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not the great, but it is average. There is a well-maintained laboratory for every subject. The classrooms are big and spacious with comfortable benches, and have good ventilation. The library is good, and has many of the best books available in the market for different subjects of each department.
Faculty: Some teachers are excellent while some are average. All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. There are many teachers with good industrial experience, so it helps a lot to get knowledge about what the industry needs from the students. The course curriculum is kind of more theory rather than doing more practical. The semester exams in this college are not extremely difficult but moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in electronics projects as well as programming so this field allows me to excel in both fields. The curriculum of this course should be more practical based. The events and fests in the college are good. The crowd of the college is very good. Seniors are very helpful as well, and about the extracurricular activities. There are always some activities going on throughout the year. The two main events are the annual sports fest named Avahan which is good, and another is the cultural fest named Zeal it is also very good.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placement, good infrastructure and facilities etc.
Placements: The placement are good. From extc department, 20 student got placed out of 70 this year the placement cell arrange everything in an efficient manner. Companies like wipro, l&t, infosys and many other come to provide placement opportunities on our campus.
Infrastructure: The classroom are good enough, the labs are okay, The library is well maintained, and the canteen is overall good, it has a friendly environment. Sports are given priority too. There are separate committees for different purposes. Moreover, non-teaching staff are very friendly.
Faculty: Teacher's are very polite considering their main teaching language as English . Most of the teachers have a master degree and can give you a plenty of knowledge even on the practical site. The course curriculum doesn't make you fully industry ready, the passing percentage is about 90%.
Other: I choose EXTC, so that I can learn some hardware part like related to embedded system, and also programming for developing. Practicals should be more compare to theory. Every year is sport event, Surrounding is good.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Q:   What is the duration of BE 2nd shift programme at Vidyavardhinis College of Engineering and Technology?
