I'm not happy with placements, but there are really good teachers, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There are no many placement facilities for biotechnology, and core biotechnology companies do not visit here for recruitment. You will get placed in non-biotech companies which visit our campus. It could be possible only if you have a good GPA and also certain skills which have demand.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best, and there are well-facilitated reading rooms. Our college has one central library, and Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the campus. Labs are well-equipped and maintained. There are 4 eateries which include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menu and one pure vegetarian eatery. There are good sports facilities, and also a new gym area had been inaugurated with the latest equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members here are well qualified, as most of them are PhD holders. Their teaching quality is also good and knowledgeable. They are very much approachable. The course curriculum will make you industry-ready as there are extra facilities like minor subjects and special topics are provided to us so that we become industry-ready.
Other: Our college organises an annual fest named Athma Trisha for 3 days with a great festive atmosphere.

I am highly satisfied with PES university.
Placements: Almost 95% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college were Code Nation's, eBay, Intuit, Qualcomm and Deloitte. The top roles offered were a business technology analyst and system engineer. The highest average salary package offered was 14 LPA, and the lowest average salary package offered was 5 LPA. About 60% of the students got internships in companies like Biocon and Panacea Biotec.
Infrastructure: The college has well-defined infrastructure and facilities. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are separate neat and clean hostels for boys and girls. South Indian and North Indian foods are available here, and the taste is also good. There were very safe hostels, and also there were very neat, clean and great housekeeping facilities. Medical facilities are available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They have top-class teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make the students industry-ready, and it was practical application-oriented. I have great knowledge about biotech. There are well-defined labs and equipment and live projects. We can learn a lot from them. I had an amazing experience here.
Other:
I chose this course because it has a practical application and testings. The best thing about the course is quality control. Culturing and growing to study about microorganisms should be improved here.

One of the best college in Bangalore for CS and IS.
Placements: Most students both seniors and our batch didn't not sit for the placements as they were interested in doing Masters. We were allowed to sit for Mu Sigma, PwC, Accenture, Cogni, Capillary. Biotech companies didn't come to the campus for placements. Those who got into biotech companies had to apply off campus. The highest placement was PWC and Mu Sigma. Internships were offered by Biocon, Novozymes, TATA etc. With no stipend.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good campus and infrastructure. The classrooms are very good, cricket field, basketball, volleyball, badminton court etc. Facilities. The professors of our department was very helpful and supportive. Good food and hostel amenities available library is very good and biotech labs are on par with any other biotech labs in India.
Faculty: Professors of biotech department are the best in the college. Most of them are Ph.D. holder or pursuing Ph.D. Our class had 45 students but seniors and juniors had 90-100 students. The class are smart class. A lot of guest lectures from ex students or leaders in their field.
Other: Pesu fest is one of the best college fest in Bangalore.

The best placement, best teachers. Our department has the best labs. Facilities are also good.
Placements: As far as I know from my experience, 50%-60% of the biotechnology students mainly prefer higher studies like MS, M.Tech, MBA, etc. The core companies are not coming to our college, but we will get placed in IT companies. Our placements are not yet done. In previous or senior batch, 15 out of 50 were placed. The lowest salary was Rs. 3,00,000 per annum. The highest salary was Rs. 4,80,000 per annum. As there are no core companies, all types of IT companies will come, like Accenture, Akamai, etc. Mainly, they get software developers roles. 60% of the biotech students will get the internship. The highest stipend was Rs. 10,000 per month. The average stipend is Rs. 5,000 per month. There is a placement cell in our college. The placement cell is not much useful.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is super fast in libraries. Wi-Fi is not available in the hostel. There are the best classrooms that I have ever found. The library is fully modern. It covers not only curriculum books, but also many novels, spiritual books, and computer with internet facility, newspapers and magazines are also available. Medical, sports and games facilities are average. The sports mainly played are basketball, cricket, football, TT, etc. The labs are well-maintained. PES hostel is the best hostel in Karnataka. The campus is facilitated without fights, and full cleanliness, room cleaning, 3 messes, reading room, computer with internet facility, laundry facility, etc. PES University has the best infrastructure facility.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. Not every teacher is qualified. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is 4.5 out of 5 in Biotechnology department. They are ready to make many sacrifices. They stay up to 5:00 PM for us. The student to faculty ratio is 150:17. We are taken on at least one industrial visit for every semester. The curriculum is very helpful.
Other: Many events are happening in PES, the best among them is Samarpana, Atma and Trisha (fest). The campus crowd is average. Our biotechnology department has the best alumni connectivity, and surroundings are also clean. Scholarship facility is also available. Every Tuesday, extracurricular activities will be there.

Other: It was a great learning with some great faculty members and students. There are tremendous opportunities for hands-on experience and lab research as well. The campus is lively and has plenty of scope for co-curricular activities as well.
There are many student communities for the students depending on various genres.
There is a huge library for peaceful and productive learning.
Even for biotech, there are good placements and internship opportunities.

There is a good chance that you will get biotechnology in the first round of counselling itself. If you miss it by a small margin you can try for the second round as well.

PES is especially known for CSE branch. I would not suggest you to join the college if you want to join only biotechnology branch. Also, the placements for biotechnology are not too impressive. But, if you plan to go for higher studies, then PES is a decent

I don't think Biotech is a good option in PES. The fee is too high and the placement is not up to the mark. But, if you are aiming for higher studies like MBA , then PES is a decent college to get your UG degree and then you can go for your PG.
