Can the exam centre be changed after the GCET admit card is released?

No. The authorities will not accept any requests to change the allotted exam centre after the GCET admit card. While filling out the application form, the candidates are advised to be careful while filling out their exam centre preferences. The authorities will allot the GCET exam centres as per the preferences and availability of the centre. No changes can be made after the centres have been allotted.

There is a mistake in my GCET hall ticket. What should I do?

Before downloading the GCET hall ticket, the candidates are advised to check the details present in the document. In case of any discrepancies in the information, the candidates should immediately contact the authorities. All of the mistakes in the GCET admit card should be corrected before the examination date, so that the candidates do not face any problems at the centre with the invigilators. However, the authorities will not accept requests to change the allotted centres.

Which credentials are required to download the GCET admit card?

GCET admit card will be prepared and released by the authorities. Registered candidates will not require any credentials to access and download the admit card of GCET. Which documents have to be carried along with the GCET admit card to the centre?

While reporting at the examination centre, the candidates will have to produce their GCET admit card. Along with the admit card, the candidates will also have to present one identity proof. Any of the identity proofs are valid to be presented at the examination centre - Voter ID/Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport/Driver's License/School ID. If the candidates fail to present their admit card and identity proof at the centre, then they will not be allowed to attempt the examination.

Which items are prohibited in the GCET exam centre?

Candidates are advised to check the list of prohibited items before reporting to the GCET exam centre. Electronic items such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smart watches, calculators, etc., are strictly prohibited in the exam centre. If the candidates are discovered with the prohibited items inside the centre, then they will be disqualified from the exam. There will be no provision to submit the items at the centre, therefore the candidates are advised to leave the items at home or with their guardians.

Which identity proofs will be considered valid at the GCET exam centre?

Along with the GCET admit card, the candidates will have to present their valid photo identity proof. Any one of the following documents can be produced to the invigilators at the centre - Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, any Govt. approved identity proof. At the exam centre, any one of the above-mentioned original identity proofs has to be presented. Without the admit card and identity proof, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

When will the authorities release the GCET admit card?

Since there is no entrance exam, the authorities will not release the GCET 2025 admit card. Previously, after completing the registration process, the candidates were able to access the GCET admit card through email. The authorities sent the GCET admit card to the registered email address of the candidates. Therefore, no log in credentials were required to access the admit card of GCET. To download the GCET admit card, the candidates had to complete the registration process before the final date.

When will GCET be held?

GCET 2025 will not be held. In the previous year, DTE announced that the state will not conduct the entrance examination. Instead, admissions into the BE courses offered by the participating institutes will be done based on JEE Main scores/ranks. All candidates will have to attempt atleast one session of JEE Main and qualify it to be eligible for Goa BE admissions. More details regarding the counselling and admission process will be announced by DTE Goa.

Will GCET admit card be released online?

No. GCET admit card will not be released online at the official website. The authorities will send the GCET hall ticket to the candidates through email to their registered email addresses. The candidates will have to access their email, download and print out the GCET admit card. No other mode will be used to release the GCET admit card. Therefore, the candidates are advised to submit their valid email address while registering for GCET.

DTE Goa released GCET admit card 2019 after the application submission process is successfully conducted. The admit card for GCET 2019 carries vital information about candidates like details of test venue, timings of the exam and other important information and instructions related to the test and the candidate. GCET 2019 admit card is made available by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa State at the authorised GCET centres. Applicants can collect their GCET 2019 admit card on the same day on which they submit their application form.

DTE Goa issues the photo-admit card for GCET 2019 only to those candidates who have completed the GCET 2019 application submission process along with the payment of exam fee, self-attested copies of the prescribed documents and three passport size photographs.

Candidates are required to check all the mentioned details carefully and then take a print out of their GCET 2019 admit card to be preserved for future. Candidates have to produce their admit cards at the exam centre before entering the exam hall, failing to produce the same candidates will not be allowed to appear for the test. Applicants need to preserve Goa CET (GCET) 2019 admit card because it is also required at the time of GCET 2019 counselling and admission.
