Who is the authority responsible for preparing the GCET cutoff?

GCET cutoff will be prepared by the authorities of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. Will GCET counselling be held online?

No. The authorities will conduct GCET/Goa BE admission counselling offline. All candidates will have to report at the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Porvorim as per their allotted dates for the counselling process. The seat allotment result will also be announced online. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's JEE Main rank, preferences and seat availability.

Can I fill out the GCET counselling form offline?

Yes, candidates are expected to have the option to access and submit the GCET/Goa BE admission counselling form offline. The counselling form will be available at - Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna, PES Rajaram & Tarabai College of Pharmacy, Farmagudi and the Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim. Along with the counselling form, the candidates will also be required to submit their self-attested documents.

How can I check the GCET seat allotment?

GCET/Goa BE seat allotment result will be declared offline. Candidates will be able to check their seat allotment result at the counselling venue. No other mode will be used to declare the seat allotment result. Allotment of seats will be done based on the candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.

GCET Cut off list is typically released on the official website in the month of June.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa will determine the minimum scores obtained by the candidates to be considered for admission to various undergraduate engineering courses at the universities and colleges in Goa.

DTE, Goa conducts GCET 2019 and is the competent authority that decides GCET 2019 cutoff marks.
GCET 2019 cutoff determinants include various factors like candidates’ performance, seat capacity of the respective courses and the college, total number of test takers, difficulty level of the paper and reservation policy.
Applicants failing to meet GCET cut off 2019 will not be considered eligible for admission to BTech/BE programmes at the universities and colleges in Goa.
On the basis of GCET 2019 cutoff, Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa prepares GCET 2019 merit list for the examinees.
Seats are allocated to candidates as per their ranks in GCET 2019 merit list.
