Plan a proper timetable

  • Proceed to create a timetable after knowing the syllabus and exam pattern of KEAM 2025
  • Make sure to maintain a strict routine on a daily basis and avoid random or weekend preparation sessions
  • Divide the papers equally, cover each unit and chapter
  • Allocate time for each paper as time management is important
  • Know the time in hand and plan study hours accordingly

Start with the basics

If the basics are not clear, then no matter how much you try, the result will always be theoretical and not fruitful. To start with, the preparation, and understanding of the basics of each topic from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are important to secure good marks in the entrance test. This will help you to know the principles behind questions asked in the test and solve questions involving these topics. If your basics are strong enough, studying each subject will be easier and more interesting.

Make sure to study daily

Many aspirants make this huge mistake of just studying for the entrance test at the last moment. This is the wrong approach, which later results in consequences. Once you are done planning to take the test, just ensure that you have a set timetable for every day and then ensure that you meet your daily target of study.

Practice with sample papers

An essential part of preparation is to practice with the previous years’ KEAM question papers. It is imperative to practice as many sample papers as you can to know the weightage of topics from each subject and also you will be able to find out your weak areas and put the focus on them for improvement.

Revise what you have studied

After completing each topic from the syllabus of KEAM 2025, candidates are advised to keep at least one month or two for revision. However, do not spend much time on it as it might affect your preparation. Also, take help from the short notes that you made during preparation.

Avoid adding new topics at the last minute of preparation

In the last lap of preparation, avoid taking any new topics from any subject. This will create chaos and further confusion. Rather, it is advised to dedicate the time to revise the units, topics and that you have already studied so far. In the last week, candidates should be determined and very subjective in terms of the syllabus to be revised. You should study only those topics, which are weak and needs improvement.

Include breaks

Candidates should include stress busters such as taking a walk in your garden or a nearby park, watching your favourite movie, play your sports. Make meditation compulsory, which will remove all your nervousness and anxiety. Be calm, confident and focused.
