Assam Police SI 2022 Recruitment Common Written Test (CWT) was conducted across the state on April 24, 2022, in offline mode. The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) released the admit card online on April 13, 2022. The candidates were required to carry one government identity proof with the admit card to secure entry to the examination centre. After the application, CWT is the second stage of the Assam Police SI recruitment process.
Assam Police 2022 Recruitment notification for Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Un-Armed Branch (UB) was released on December 7, 2021. The online applications were started from December 10, 2021.The last date to apply for the exam was January 9, 2022. The total number of vacancies notified in the advertisement was 306. Medical Standards:
- A person with a high colour vision or squint eyes or any other physical deformities, with certain diseases such as hernia, piles, diabetes, respiratory diseases etc. aren’t eligible to apply
- Applicant's near vision should be normal and distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction

Assam Police 2022 SI Recruitment Stages
As per Assam Police SI exam pattern, the exam will have the following stages:
Written exam:
- The total time allotted for the test is 2 hours to complete the 100 marks paper
- The paper would contain100 questions and each question will carry 1 mark
- There will be a negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer
- The paper will be divided into three parts (i) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension (ii) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and (iii) General Knowledge
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
40 marks are allotted for this section. Find the important details of this section below:
- Long Jump (Male): 335 cm
- Long Jump (Female): 244 cm
- Candidates will be given three chances and the longest jump will be taken into account.
- Race (Male): 1600 meters race within 450 seconds
- Race (Female): 800 meters race within 240 seconds
Computer Proficiency Test (CPT):
30 marks are allotted for this section. Find the important details of this section below:
- 10 marks are allotted for a degree in computer education
- 20 marks are allotted filed practical
Note: Candidates will be awarded marks for Extra-curricular Activities. Those who are holding NCC certificates, home guards, sports person and person with academic achievements will get extra marks under this category.
