A:

The RBI Assistant exam is conducted in three phases, including prelims and mains, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Hence, the exam conducting body releases results separately for each stage. Candidates who qualify for the prelims stage will be eligible to appear for the Mains stage. Lastly, candidates who qualify for both stages will appear for the LPT. RBI Assistant results consist of students' roll numbers who have qualified for the examination. After the declaration of the result, RBI also releases scorecards within 15 days. Furthermore, RBI Assistant cut-off scores are also released. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are counted for the final merit list. The final merit list is prepared based on the performance in the Mains exam followed by LPT.

RBI Assistant Merit List

RBI Assistant merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by students and number of vacancies. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for merit. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the mains exam.

What After the Declaration of RBI Assistant Result?

The merit list of RBI Assistant is prepared based on the marks obtained in the mains exam provided candidates qualify Language Proficiency Test. The performance of the prelims exam is not counted for final selection. Only such candidates are called for the Language Proficiency Test who stand sufficiently high in merit based on the marks obtained in the mains exam. The merit is decided by the bank in relation to the number of vacancies notified by the bank. It is important to appear in LPT. No exemption is given to candidates appearing in LPT. Final selection depends on the performance in the online test, qualifying in LPT, medical fitness, verification of certificates, biometric data, etc. Biometric verification and LPT are qualifying in nature and are only based on the performance on the mains exam. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their declared medically fit.

Q:   What is RBI Assistant marking scheme?

A:
RBI Assistant marking scheme is prescribed by the examination authority. The scores of candidates are calculated as per the marking scheme. RBI Assistant marking scheme is given below: For every correct answer, candidates score one mark For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. For example: candidates have answered 25 questions in Reasoning and 20 answers are correct and five answers are incorrect. The score of candidates will be 20x1-5=15. There is no weightage for LPT. Candidates must be able to speak, write and understand the local language of the state they have applied for. Candidates need to qualify the LPT or else they are not considered for the recruitment exam The scores of candidates are calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers

The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 100 whereas it is 200 marks for the Mains exam. The section-wise marks for prelims and Mains exam are given below. Mains: The mains exam of RBI Assistant carries 200 marks. Each section of the exam carries 40 marks. Prelims: The prelims exam of RBI Assistant carries 100 marks. The English section carries 30 marks and Quant and Reasoning sections carries 35 marks. The scores of candidates are calculated as per the marking scheme. For correct answer, candidates score one mark. The marks deducted for wrong answers are 0.25. The corrected score is arrived based on the number of correct and incorrect answers. The corrected score is then normalised using the equi-percentile method.

TheMainsexam is divided into five sections-Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of Numerical Ability, Test of General Awareness and Test of Computer Knowledge. Q:   Can SBI Clerk transferred to other states?

A:

According to the SBI Clerk transfer policy, SBI Clerks or Junior Associates are not eligible for transfer be it within the state or outside the state. Earlier, SBI Clerks were allowed to request for transfer after successfully completing 5 years of service at their current location of posting. SBI Clerks and Junior Associates who were recruited through a special recruitment drive for Kashmir Valley, Tura, and Ladakh are allowed to request a transfer only after successfully completing 8 years of service at their current base location. From 2021, this option has been discontinued for the newly recruited SBI Clerks. The latest official notification states that no inter circle transfers or inter state transfers are permitted for Junior Associates or SBI Clerks who have been recruited. Posting locations are classified as normal centres, difficult centres and most difficult centres.
