RRB Exam Dates 2024: Check Exam Timing & Shift Schedule

RRB NTPC exam dates are yet to be announced by the RRBs. RRB NTPC exam dates highlights the important events pertaining to the exam such as the release of application form, admit card, result, answer key, exam, etc. Candidates should keep the exam dates handy so that they do not miss any event. RRB NTPC is one of the most sought-after railway exams in the country. Large number of candidates appear for the exam. The selection process comprises CBT 1, CBT 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable), and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

RRB Group D exam is conducted in three shifts. The exam for the morning shift begins at 9 am. The exam for second shift starts at 12.45 pm. The exam for the third shift starts at 5 pm. The details related to RRB Group D shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to reach the exam centre as per the timings mentioned on the admit card. RRB NTPC application form for Graduate posts was released on September 14, 2024. The last date to apply for this post was October 20, 2024. RRB NTPC application form 2024 for undergraduate posts was released on September 21, 2024. The last date to apply for the exam was October 27, 2024. Interested candidates need to fill the application form online only. The application fee can be paid both online and offline. In 2022, a total of 1.25 crore application forms were received for RRB NTPC exam. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of RRB NTPC application form. • Candidates need to register for the exam such as name, category, date of birth, email ID, contact number, and academic details among others
• After submitting the details, a provisional user ID and password are
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature
• Candidates need to fill the educational qualification and other details
• Candidates should preview the application form
• Candidates need to upload the left thumb impression and handwritten declaration
• Pay the application fees and submit the application form

To prepare for RRB Group D exam, candidates need to go through the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates must choose the right study material for the exam. They should attempt mock tests and solve the previous years' question papers. Make a habit of studying for at least three or four hours a day. For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 33 years. Candidates must have completed Class 10 from an Institution recognised by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to apply for the exam. RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. Candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), pension benefits, and medical reimbursements. RRB NTPC admit card will be released online separately for different stages of exams-CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT/CBST, Document Verification and Medical Exam. The admit card is released four days before the exam. To download the admit card, candidates need to login with user ID and password. The admit card is an important document without which candidates are not allowed to appear for the exam.

The CBT of RRB Group D exam comprises four sections-General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness and Current Affairs. Total marks allotted to CBT are 100. Based on the marks obtained in CBT, candidates are called for PET. The PET is qualifying in nature. Those who qualify the PET are called for document verification. Final empanellment of candidates is done based on the performance in CBT subject to their qualifying the document verification and medical exam.
