RRB Group D Exam Pattern

According to RRB Group D exam pattern, the computer-based test of RRB Group D comprises four sections. The test paper comprises 100 questions and the duration of the test is 90 minutes. The total marks allotted to the CBT are 100. Candidates qualifying the CBT are called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This test is qualifying in nature. Based on the performance in CBT and subject to qualifying the PET, candidates are called for document verification and medical examination. For the correct answer in CBT, one mark is given to candidates and 1/3 marks are deducted as a penalty for wrong answers. The structure of RRB Group D exam pattern.

Q:   Is there any qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam?

A:

Yes, there are qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam. The qualifying marks for your and EWS categories are 40 and 30 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 per cent for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them. Besides the cut off marks, candidates are required to secure the qualifying as per their categories to qualify the exam. For each correct answer in RRB Group D exam, candidates score one mark. 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answers. The category-wise RRB Group D qualifying marks is given below.
