CUCAT PG Courses Counselling 2024 Seat Allotment: Check Dates, Fees & Procedure

The seats availibility in various colleges in CUCAT exam are categorized as follows:

Candidates appearing for CUCAT counselling will be required to submit following documents.

• Admit Card
• Print out of the application form
• Receipt/Chalan of the fee remitted for acceptance of allotment.
• Age Proof
• Qualifying Certificate
• Mark List of Qualifying Examination
• Transfer Certificate
• Conduct Certificate
• S.S.L.C
• Those candidates who have passed examinations other than HSE/VHSE except CBSE/CISCE should produce Equivalency/Recognition Certificate.
• Non Creamy layer Certificate / Nativity Certificate /Community Certificate/EWS Certificate as directed by the admitting authorities.
• Candidates who claim bonus/weightage marks shall produce relevant certificates.

CUCAT is held to offer admission to courses such as Integrated M.A. in Development Studies, Integrated M.Sc. Bioscience, Integrated M.Sc. in Physcis, Integrated M.Sc. in Chemistry, LLM with Double Specialisation, M.A. Arabic Language & Literature, M.A. Comparative Literature, M.A. Economics & M.A. Financial Economics, M.A. English Language & Literature and other Master of Arts, Master of Science, and UG and PG law courses.

CUCAT Result 2025 will be declared by the Calicut University at its official website, uoc.ac.in once the exam is over. The CUCAT results will be available in the online mode as merit lists. Once the result is released, candidates will be able to get details such as their names, respective roll numbers, application numbers, merit ranks, entrance scores and percentages through the CUCAT Result 2025.

The CUCAT 2024 merit list is released in online mode. The merit list for a particular UG or PG programme will have details such as the names of candidates who have secured the desirable rank and are eligible for admission on the basis of marks secured and eligibility criteria.

The marking scheme for CUCAT exam is as such that questions vary for different courses. There is no fixed number of questions set per course. For BTech, the number of questions will be different from the number of questions asked in a BA Political Science question paper. There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks will be deducted. The total marks will be 100 marks.

To pursue BCom course through Calicut University Common Admission Test (CUCAT), aspirants should have completed their Class 12 from Kerala State Board or a recognised board in Commerce stream and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate. The Calicut University UG Entrance Exam pattern is as such that students will be provided with OMR sheets and plain papers to write their answers. The duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours. Candidates will have to write down their answers with a pen on the allotted answer sheets. The questions will be asked in both English and Malayalam.
