Q:   How should I improve my AILET score?

A:

First and foremost, your primary goal should be the AILET exam, and mocks should be used solely for learning purposes. You can follow the following tips to improve your score:
1. Analyze areas where you're scoring less frequently.
2. Review the topics in which you scored lower on a regular basis.
3. Divide your study time in half: 60% should be spent practicing and revising weak topics, and 40% should be spent maintaining strong areas.
4. Give each section dedicated, fixed time to ensure that you are allocating equal time to all sections.
5. You may give more time to sections that are taking a lot of time after completing the ones you know. For example, if you are taking a lot of time in comprehension, you can save the last few minutes for this section and solve other sections first. There is no ideal score, but try to maintain a consistent overall score above 80 in mocks to stay confident for the real exam. Try to score above 25 marks in the English section and above 50 in logical reasoning, as this section can be strengthened with practice. You should not be concerned because General Knowledge is a dynamic section; instead, try to answer 50 percent of the questions correctly in this section to avoid negative marking. You just have to regularly revise and practice, keeping the syllabus in mind, and you can sail through this exam.

Q:   Is AILET tougher than CLAT?

A:
Yes, the difficulty level of AILET is usually higher than CLAT as the competition is five times more for the limited seats of B.A. LL.B. And LL. M. courses available at NLU Delhi. Moreover, the exam pattern of AILET is also different than CLAT exam pattern. The cutoff marks are also higher for AILET conducted by NLU Delhi. CLAT cutoff marks vary every year but are moderate as there are 23 participating National Law Universities. Therefore, candidates can assume that AILET is tougher than CLAT exam.

Q:   Which subject has the maximum weightage in the AILET 2025 exam?

A:

The Logical reasoning section carries the maximum weightage; i.e. 50 per cent in the AILET 2025 Exam. Reasoning is actually a combination of both verbal logic, as well as analytical reasoning. So, one part is full of numbers and data, while the other is made of words and puzzles. Reasoning needs ample practice. Books by MK Pandey and RS Aggarwal will suffice. For Data Interpretation (DI) questions, the trick lies in forming the table. Once this is done, the rest of the questions flow automatically. Hence, the students are advised to prepare this subject carefully and give special attention.
