However, based on previous years' exam schedules, the exam timings for AILET are as follows: - The exam is usually conducted in a single session. - The exam duration is 1 hour 30 minutes (90 minutes). - The exam timing is usually from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. It is important to note that the exam timings may change from year to year, and the official notification will provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding the AILET exam schedule. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website of NLU Delhi for updates on the AILET 2024 exam.

Q:   What documents do I need to carry at AILET Exam centre?

A:

On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following documents and items to the AILET centre:

  • AILET admit card: Since, it is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre, candidates must carry their admit card as issued to them. Candidates without a valid admit card on the day of the exam will not be allowed to take it.
  • Photo ID proof: Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry an original photo ID proof issued by the Government of India. Documents that can be presented as an ID proof include PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card and Ration Card. 
  • Photo: Candidates should carry an attested passport size photograph  (the same as uploaded at the time of filling the application form). 
  • Stationary: Since the AILET 2024 is an offline exam, candidates must carry at least two good-quality ball-point pens of blue or black ink and an HB pencil to the test centre
  • Disability certificate: The certificate is mandatory for candidates who have applied under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category
  • Other items such as an analogue watch, transparent water bottle, face masks, gloves and hand sanitizer are also to be carried to the test centre.

Q:   When will AILET 2025 be conducted?

A:

The AILET 2025 exam was conducted on December 8, 2024 from 2 PM to 4 PM. The exam was conducted offline. The AILET 2025 application was released on August 1, 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Through this exam, candidates will be able to apply for BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD in Law courses taught at the National Law University Delhi.

Q:   I have lost my password for the AILET 2025 account. How can I retrieve it?

A:

If you have lost or forgotten the password for your AILET account, you need to visit the AILET official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Then, you need to click on the "Forgot Password?" option.

In the next step, you need to enter or confirm the email address that you used for the AILET registration. A "Reset Password" option will pop-up on the screen. Click on this option. A link to reset the new password will be sent to your registered email address. By clicking on the link and creating a new password, you will be able to generate your new AILET account password. 

Q:   Which ID proof do I need to take to AILET exam centre?

A:

Along with the AILET admit card, candidates need a valid ID card to proof their identity at the AILET exam centre. This ID card can be one of the following: 

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID
  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Diving License

Before taking a particular ID proof to the exam center, you must ensure that all the details on the card are correct. If there is a mistake in the spelling of your name, your father's name, date of birth, address, or contact details, avoid using that document as ID proof, as these details will not match the ones on your AILET admit card.

In such cases, it is better to carry another ID proof. After the exam, make sure to correct the details on all your government-issued ID proofs, as they may be required for AILET counselling.
