  • Habit of reading newspaper: Candidates must religiously read a newspaper daily not only for the english portion but also for the general knowledge/current affairs section. Candidates must not skip opinion pieces as they will help you to express yourself clearly.
  • Solve AILET Sample papers and mock tests: Make sure you pratice each type of question. Do not ignore a question because you feel that you can answer it on the exam day. 
    Solve previous years question paper to get an idea about the whole AILET exam pattern and how much time it is taking you to solve. This will also help you to know your own problem areas where you should work on before the exam day.
  • Read; Apart from reading newspaper, make sure you inculcate a readin habit. If you have the habit, then you will be able to shorten the amount of time it takes to read a question and answer it. To start with you can read any novel of your choice during your freetime. 
  • Time table: Make a plan or schedule for everyday study plan. You should have a plan that what you want  to prepare on the weekdays and, what you wish to revise on the weekends as recommended by AILET toppers in the past.
  • Grammer Rules:  It is essential to be well-versed in the grammar rules to attempt sentence correction and error detection-based questions.

Q:   Are there any changes to the AILET syllabus?

A:

No changes have been made in AILET yet, and it will be the same as last year syllabus. The major changes were made in AILET 2022 BA LLB and LLM syllabus only. For instance, the BA LLB question paper will now have only THREE sections (instead of five). The weightage of the three sections has also changed. In the case of LLM, the modified syllabus will have questions from two sections. Also, the tie-breaker procedure has been updated.

AILET 2025 question paper will carry 35 questions of one mark each for English. The section will be based on topics of General English and grammar as under:
