National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi), published separate merit lists for UG and PG law courses for AILET 2025. Q:   How many attempts are allowed for AILET?

A:
Candidates can attempt AILET any number of times, in fact unlimited. As there is no age limit restrictions as per the AILET eligibility criteria, and no limits on attempts. NLU Delhi never put any limit on AILET attempts, and candidates can appear for the entrance exam even if they want to gain exam taking experience.

Q:   Does NLU Delhi accept CLAT score?

A:

National Law University, (NLU) Delhi, included among one of the most prestigious law universities in India. Apart from NLU Delhi, there are 22 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. NLU Delhi offers law courses i.e. five-year Intergrated BA LLB (Hons.) course at the undergraduate level, One-year LLM course at the postgraduate level, and PhD courses at the doctorate level. For admission to the law courses,  NLU Delhi conducts its own law entrance exam known as the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), thus making it the only law school in India that does not accept the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)

Q:   Is there any age limit to apply for the AILET exam?

A:
No, National Law University, Delhi has not prescribed any lower or upper age limit for admissions to its law courses. B.A. LL.B. (Hons) Eligibility Criteria: 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 45 percent aggregate marks and 40 percent in case of SC, ST, or PwD. LL. M. Eligibility Criteria: LL.B. Or equivalent degree with minimum 50 percent marks and 45 percent in case of SC, ST, or PwD. Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria: LL. Q:   What is the eligibility for AILET in India?

A:

The candidates applying for AILET should check the eligibility criteria for their selected course as under: B.A. LL.B. (Hons) - The candidates applying for the undergraduate course of NLU Delhi should be passed or appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination. They should have obtained at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination. LL. M. - Candidates should have passed or appeared in the final examinations of a five-years or three-years LL.B. Degree. They should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate if belonging to the unreserved category and 45% marks if belonging to SC/ST/PWD category. 

Q:   Can I appear for AILET if I forget to carry my photo ID?

A:

No, candidates were not allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, AILET admit card 2024, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These were the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the AILET exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the AILET 2024 exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the passport and postcard-sized photographs pasted on it.

Q:   How many city preferences can a candidate submit while selecting AILET center?

A:

Candidates can submit maximum 3 preferences for AILET centre. Choosing preference for exam centre is mandatory to submit AILET application. Candidates will get to know about allotment of exact centre once the admit card is released. The NLU Delhi releases admit card online comprising crucial details about exam including name and address of AILET centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website after its release. To download AILET admit card, candidates need application ID, password, and Exam Unique Code (EUC).

Q:   Can I apply for AILET in offline mode?

A:

No. National Law University (NLU) Delhi only accept online application form for AILET 2024 exam. The application form for AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is submitted online through the official website. The application process starts with online registration. Candidates have to register on the website, fill in the application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the application fee online. Before applying online, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria set by NLU Delhi.

Candidates who have been shortlisted for the provisional seat allotment have to pay the admission fees as under:

NLU Delhi will also release list of waiting candidates for the above categories, to consider them when a candidate does not secure the allotted seat in any category.

101 marks is a very good in AILET score. Generally 70-100 marks are considered good score to be considered. With this marks you'll rank good enough.

While, 5095 rank is bit higher, it is seen and consider rank around 3.5k is a good rank to be considered. Try to came more closer near 3k, for better.
