In 2023, NLU Delhi changed the AILET exam pattern (for AILET 2024 exam). As per the revised exam pattern, the question paper of BA LLB (Hons.) is now based on three subjects i.e. English Comprehension, General Knowledge including Current Affairs, and Logical Reasoning. Earlier, Legal Aptitude and Elementary Mathematics were also a part of AILET question paper. However, these two sections have been removed from AILET 2024 onwards. There is no change in the marking scheme and total marks of AILET examination. The logical reasoning section may carry some questions based on Legal principles, however, it will not require any core legal knowledge. Similarly, AILET LLM exam pattern has been modified as well.
