How to fill AILET application form 2022

The AILET 2025 application process was open until November 18, 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The AILET 2025 admit card was released on November 28, 2024 by National Law University Delhi on the mentioned official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Only those candidates who fill out the AILET application form 2025 by the mentioned deadline will be allowed to appear for the exam. The AILET 2025 exam will be held on December 8, 2024 in offline mode at different test centres across India.

Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB, BCom LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses offered at NLU Delhi need to fill out the AILET 2025 application form on or before the mentioned application deadline. The last date for the AILET 2025 registration for BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses will be the same. The last date to fill out the AILET 2025 registration form is November 18, 2024. Candidates will be able to fill out the registration form at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Once the AILET registration process is over, candidates will have to download their admit card. The AILET 2025 admit card will tentatively be released in the fourth week of November 2024 on the AILET website or portal, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The admit card will only be provided those candidates who complete the registration process and pay the registration fee.

AILET 2025 registration was started on August 1, 2024 on the official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The official notification for AILET 2025 was released May 27, 2024, which confirmed the exact dates for registration and the exam. The exam date for All India Law Entrance Test is December 8, 2024. The AILET 2025 application form will be released for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses.

Q:   When will the application form of CLAT, AILET and other major universities be out? Is there any website on which I can get all the details?

The application forms for CLAT AILET and other law entrance exams for admission to top law universities/ colleges is generally released in January month of the academic year. However, now the application for CLAT and AILET is released around May or June, as these exams are to be conducted in December every year. The application forms for other law entrance exams like MHCET Law ULSAT TSLAWCET APLAWCET ISAT India, AMU B.A. LL.B. Are released between December to March, as the examinations are conducted from May to July. Top universities like BHU, AMU, DU LL.B. Allahabad University offering law courses including five-year integrated law course and three-year LL.B. Course are accepting CUET scores to shortlist candidates. Candidates can consider the following things before filling up the application form of AILET:

Q:   Do I need to send hard/physical copy of documents to NLU Delhi for AILET application process?

A:

No, you do not need to send a hard copy of your documents to NLU Delhi to apply for AILET. You only need specific documents and details for the application process. These documents and details are mentioned below: 

  • A scanned copy of your the latest passport-size photo, which must not be older than 3 months. 
  • A scanned copy of your signature
  • Current Address
  • Name of your mother and father and their mobile numbers and email IDs
  • Parent's annual income details
  • Details related to academic qualifications, including school/college names, marks, percentage, or CGPA

Q:   I have paid the application fee for AILET but the application status is not updated yet. What to do?

A:
Generally, the application status for application fee payment gets updated automatically. Q:   How to pay the application fee of AILET?

A:
Candidates can pay the application fee for AILET exam in online mode only. They can use the online mode payment options like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or E-Wallets like GPay, Paytm, or UPI payment banking applications. There is no other method to pay the application fee. To pay the application fee, candidates should first complete all the steps of AILET exam form, and then in the last step they need to pay the application fee. If candidates selects Credit Card or Debit Card, they will be required to enter the details like Name on Card, 16 Digit Card Number, Expiry Month and Year, and CVV, thereafter, they will receive and OTP to complete the transaction. Once the fee is paid, the status SUCCESSFUL will appear on the screen. If candidate chooses Net Banking, then they need to enter their Internet Banking details like Customer ID, and PIN. For E-Wallet Payments candidates need to Enter a mobile number registered for Online Payments like Paytm, GPay or UPI payments.

Q:   Do I have to send the application form to NLU Delhi by post?

A:
No, Candidates need not send the printouts of AILET application form in offline mode to NLU Delhi. The application forms can be submitted in online mode itself. Candidates have to complete all the steps of AILET application process in online mode only including: Step 1 - Registration Step 2 - Filling Up the form Step 3 - Uploading Documents Step 4 - Selecting test centre location Step 5 - Payment of Application Fee Step 6 - Submission of Application Form After completing the application process, candidates can keep a copy of submitted application form for future references.
  • A valid email ID to register for AILET
  • A valid mobile number to get SMS related to application and exam details.
  • Properly scanned copies of the photograph in jpg, GMF or BMP formats and, the file size should not be more than 150 KB
  • Class 10 certificate for filling name and date of birth as per the certificate
  • Credit/ Debit Card, Bank details for application fee payment

The documents required to fill in education details and personal details should be kept handy. Moreover, the email ID and phone number required for AILET registration should also be kept open for OTP and confirmation related updates.

5. Fill all the details carefully i.e. name, date of birth, and phone number, and a NLU Delhi will send an application ID and password on the entered mobile number

6. Use the application username and password to login, and the next page will appear as under, and candidates need to change their password for their application form of AILET 2025: 

7. Candidates have to change the password and click on ‘Change’ button, and a confirmation message will appear on the screen. Next, candidates need to select their course of admission through AILET 2025 as under:

9. Candidates need to fill the following details in the first step of AILET 2025 application form:

  • Personal Details - Name as per certificate, Mobile number, DOB, Gender, Category, Email ID, Nationality, Religion, PwD status, KM status, Residenent of J&K status
  • Centre Choice Details - Select any three test centres for AILET 2025 from the list of 24 cities available.
  • Contact Details - Enter address, state, UT, district, pincode details.
  • Family Details - Parent's name, occupation, income, phone number, and office address
  • Academic Qualification - Enter class 10 details, year of passing, grading scale, maximum marks, marks secured, percentage or CGPA.

10. Next, candidates need to upload their scanned photograph and signature, thereafter they need to select the declaration and proceed to next step:

12. The application fee to be paid as per the category and course will appear on the screen as a popup, candidates need to select their method of payment from the options below:
  • Wallet Payments - BHIM UPI, PhonePe, GooglePay, Mobiquick, Freecharge, Airtel Money, Ola Money, Jio Money, PayZapp etc.
  • Cards Payments - Debit Card/ Credit Card as issued by your bank
  • Net Banking - Online/Internet banking service provided by your bank
13. Once the application fee is paid, the status will be confirmed via the registered mobile number and email address. Candidates can then proceed to submit their application form.

The AILET application correction window refers to a specific period during which candidates can correct any mistakes they made while filling out their AILET application form. The application correction window will remain open during the application period from August 1 to November 18, 2024 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. To correct details during the AILET 2025 correction window, candidates can follow these steps:

  • Go to the official website of National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi).
  • Use your application number and password to log into your account.
  • Navigate to the application correction section.
  • Edit the necessary details in your application form. Note that only certain fields may be editable.
  • After making the corrections, save the changes.

What after AILET 2025 Application Process? 

After the conclusion of the AILET application process 2025, NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2025 admit card at nationallawuniversitydelihi. The admit card will tentatively be released in November 2024. It is madatory for candidates to carry their admit card to the exam centre on the exam day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam without this document.
