All those candidates who are interested in getting admission to NLU Delhi through AILET 2025 are advised to fill out the AILET application form 2025 on or before application or registration deadline provided by the exam authority. A:

AILET 2025 registration was started on August 1, 2024 on the official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The official notification for AILET 2025 was released May 27, 2024, which confirmed the exact dates for registration and the exam. The exam date for All India Law Entrance Test is December 8, 2024. The AILET 2025 application form will be released for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses.

Q:   When will the application form of CLAT, AILET and other major universities be out? Is there any website on which I can get all the details?

The application forms for CLAT AILET and other law entrance exams for admission to top law universities/ colleges is generally released in January month of the academic year. However, now the application for CLAT and AILET is released around May or June, as these exams are to be conducted in December every year. The application forms for other law entrance exams like MHCET Law ULSAT TSLAWCET APLAWCET ISAT India, AMU B.A. LL.B. Are released between December to March, as the examinations are conducted from May to July. Top universities like BHU, AMU, DU LL.B. Allahabad University offering law courses including five-year integrated law course and three-year LL.B. Course are accepting CUET scores to shortlist candidates. Q:   What is the last date for AILET 2025 registration?

A:

The last date for the AILET 2025 registration for BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses will be the same. The last date to fill out the AILET 2025 registration form is November 18, 2024. Candidates will be able to fill out the registration form at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Once the AILET registration process is over, candidates will have to download their admit card. The AILET 2025 admit card will tentatively be released in the fourth week of November 2024 on the AILET website or portal, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The admit card will only be provided those candidates who complete the registration process and pay the registration fee.

What documents are required to fill AILET 2025 Application Form?

Candidates who wish to apply for AILET 2025 must need to fill out the AILET 2025 registration cum application form at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The list of documents required to fill AILET 2025 application form has been mentioned below:

  • Marksheet of Class 10th/ 12th and certificate
  • Graduation mark sheet and certificate (For LLM - if available)
  • Passport size photo with white background (Size should be less than 1 MB, format .jpg/.jpeg)
  • Scanned signature (maximum size 1 MB, format - .jpg/.jpeg)
  • BPL certificate (if you belong to the BPL category) (Max size - 2 MB)
  • Passport (if you belong to a Foreign National (FN) category) (Max size - 2 MB)
  • Your Email Address and valid mobile number
  • Relevant category certificate (for SC, ST, OBC, J&K category students)

AILET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for undergraduate or postgraduate courses, had to fulfill the common eligibility criteria for the AILET exam as under: 

  • Candidates should have obtained the minimum qualifying marks and certificate relevant for the courses.
  • If candidates are applying under a reserved category, then they should have a certificate issued by the competent authority stating the same. 
  • If candidates belong to the PwD category then a medical certificate issued by a medical authority stating 40 per cent or more disability should be available to be eligible under PwD category.

Generally, the application status for application fee payment gets updated automatically. Q:   Do I need to send hard/physical copy of documents to NLU Delhi for AILET application process?

A:

No, you do not need to send a hard copy of your documents to NLU Delhi to apply for AILET. You only need specific documents and details for the application process. These documents and details are mentioned below: 

  • A scanned copy of your the latest passport-size photo, which must not be older than 3 months. 
  • A scanned copy of your signature
  • Current Address
  • Name of your mother and father and their mobile numbers and email IDs
  • Parent's annual income details
  • Details related to academic qualifications, including school/college names, marks, percentage, or CGPA

Q:   How to pay the application fee of AILET?

A:
Candidates can pay the application fee for AILET exam in online mode only. They can use the online mode payment options like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or E-Wallets like GPay, Paytm, or UPI payment banking applications. There is no other method to pay the application fee. To pay the application fee, candidates should first complete all the steps of AILET exam form, and then in the last step they need to pay the application fee. If candidates selects Credit Card or Debit Card, they will be required to enter the details like Name on Card, 16 Digit Card Number, Expiry Month and Year, and CVV, thereafter, they will receive and OTP to complete the transaction. Once the fee is paid, the status SUCCESSFUL will appear on the screen. If candidate chooses Net Banking, then they need to enter their Internet Banking details like Customer ID, and PIN. For E-Wallet Payments candidates need to Enter a mobile number registered for Online Payments like Paytm, GPay or UPI payments.

Q:   Do I have to send the application form to NLU Delhi by post?

A:
No, Candidates need not send the printouts of AILET application form in offline mode to NLU Delhi. The application forms can be submitted in online mode itself. Candidates have to complete all the steps of AILET application process in online mode only including: Step 1 - Registration Step 2 - Filling Up the form Step 3 - Uploading Documents Step 4 - Selecting test centre location Step 5 - Payment of Application Fee Step 6 - Submission of Application Form After completing the application process, candidates can keep a copy of submitted application form for future references.

How to fill the AILET 2025 Application Form?

Since the application form for AILET 2025 has been made available in online mode only, candidates can follow the simple steps to fill the AILET 2025 application form as described below:

Step 1: Online AILET 2025 Registration

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of NLU Delhi - http://www.nludelhi.ac.in or AILET Portal - https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/
  • Click on 'Register to Apply Now' where you need to create a signup/ login account by providing the below-mentioned information:
  1. Name
  2. E-mail Address
  3. Create a Password
  4. Date of Birth
  5. Mobile Number
  6. Contact Address
  • Click on confirm registration, and log in again to fill the application form as under:

Step 2: Select the law course 

The exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate law courses, therefore, candidates need to select the course they are applying for. 

  • For this candidates need to select the application form for – BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD.
  • Once, the candidates have selected the course in which they want to secure admission they need to click on the “Apply Now” button for the next step.

Step 3: Fill AILET 2025 application form

On successfully creating the AILET login account, candidates can fill out the form to complete the application process for NLU Delhi admissions. Applicants will be required to fill in the below-given information in the detailed application form for AILET 2025:

Step 4:  Upload Documents

Candidates need to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications below:

Step 5: Pay the application fee

In the final step towards completing the application process, candidates have to do AILET Application Form 2025 Fee Payment as mentioned below:

Online mode - Candidates can pay the application fee using Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking option through online payment gateway. To pay the application fee, candidates have to select the mode of payment as 'Online Payment Gateway' and fill in the details of the card or net banking and proceed to pay. 

Offline mode - If candidates want to pay the application fee in offline mode then they have to select 'Cash Deposit at post office' as the mode of payment. Then they have to select their city, the nearest branch and a challan will be generated. Download it and pay the fee in cash at the selected branch within 48 hours of generating the challan. Once the fee has been paid, the updated status will reflect on the applicant's account within 72 hours.

Step 6: Application 2025 Form Submission

Once the application fee has been paid and the status for it is reflected in the applicant account, candidates have to cross-check the details entered on the form and submit it online only. Also, take printouts of the submitted application form for future reference. 

How to Edit AILET Application Form 2025?

Candidates can edit the AILET 2025 application form, if required, on the official website of the exam. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below for the same:

Step 1: Visit the official website of AILET.

Step 2: Click on the Already Registered? Login button.

Step 3: Login by entering user ID and password.

Step 4: Click on the Go to Edit Application Form button.

Step 5: Make the required changes in the details entered in the application form.

Step 6: Click on Submit button to submit the changes made. 

How to Download AILET Admit Card 2025?

To download the AILET hall ticket, candidates have to follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NLU Delhi - http://www.nludelhi.ac.in. 

Step 2: Click on the AILET Admissions button.

Step 3: Click on the 'Already Registered? Login' button.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the login window where you need to enter the following details:

  • Application number
  • Password

Step 4: Click on Login button.

Step 5: View, download, save and print the AILET 2025 admit card.

Note: Candidates should proceed to download the admit card in colour print (if black and white, then it should mention test centre details and candidates photograph clearly). Also, candidates should get extra printouts of the admit card to be on a safer side in case they misplace it.

Documents Required for AILET 2025 Admission Process

There are certain documents that NLU Delhi does not require during the AILET application process, but candidates must upload them during the AILET 2025 counselling for verification purposes. The list of all documents required for admission to NLU Delhi through AILET 2025 is provided below:

  • Statement of Marks of 5-year or 3-year LLB (valid for only LLM candidates)
  • Class 10 marks statement (BCom LLB and BA LLB)
  • Class 12 marks statement (BCom LLB and BA LLB)
  • Certificates/marks sheets showing a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/Persons with Disability) in the Higher Secondary School Examination (10+2) or equivalent
    Statement of Marks Class Xth
  • Valid Character Certificate from the last attended institution (not more than six months old).
  • Valid category certificate (PwD/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/KM/Resident of Jammu and Kashmir, etc.)
