The fee structure at NLU Delhi covers components like annual fees, one-time fees, and deposits. Admission for Indian nationals at NLU Delhi is conducted through AILET entrance exam.

NLU Delhi Fee Structure 2023 - The AILET 2023 exam was conducted in online, center-based mode on December 11, 2022 (11 am - 12.30 pm). Scores of the exam will be considered for admission to the 5-year BA LLB, one-year LLM, and Ph.D. programs. Allotment of seats to these programs will be based on the merit of AILET 2023.

Candidates seeking admission to NLU Delhi must be aware of the fee structure for their program. This is to avoid last-minute surprises and also to avoid having to run helter-skelter to arrange the money needed for admission.

Foreign Nationals: The annual tuition fee will be in Indian Rupees equivalent to USD 6,000 (Six Thousand Only) for candidates from SAARC countries and USD 12,000 (Twelve Thousand Only) for candidates from other countries. Other fees will be the same as those applicable to Indian students.

Q:   What is the last date for AILET 2025 registration?

A:

The last date for the AILET 2025 registration for BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses will be the same. The last date to fill out the AILET 2025 registration form is November 18, 2024. Candidates will be able to fill out the registration form at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

Once the AILET registration process is over, candidates will have to download their admit card. The AILET 2025 admit card will tentatively be released in the fourth week of November 2024 on the AILET website or portal, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The admit card will only be provided those candidates who complete the registration process and pay the registration fee.

AILET 2025 registration was started on August 1, 2024 on the official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The official notification for AILET 2025 was released May 27, 2024, which confirmed the exact dates for registration and the exam. The exam date for All India Law Entrance Test is December 8, 2024. The AILET 2025 application form will be released for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD in Law courses.

The fellowship will cover all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, coursework fee, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees, etc.) and living expenses (boarding and lodging, etc.). In addition, students from their first year to 3rd year are entitled to a monthly stipend to be decided by the NLU Delhi from time to time.

Hostel Accommodation:

Due to the paucity of rooms in the hostel, hostel facilities will not be available for newly admitted students of B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Program from Delhi/NCR. However, students from outside Delhi/ NCR may be considered for allotment of hostel accommodation subject to availability. 

For the LLM program, no candidate will be provided hostel accommodation.

Q:   When will AILET 2025 counseling registration close?

A:

The AILET 2025 counseling registration was conducted online from December 2024 to January 2025. The counselling registration will open for candidates who get shortlisted for AILET 2025 merit lists. 

Q:   When will the application form of CLAT, AILET and other major universities be out? Is there any website on which I can get all the details?

A:
The application forms for CLAT AILET and other law entrance exams for admission to top law universities/ colleges is generally released in January month of the academic year. However, now the application for CLAT and AILET is released around May or June, as these exams are to be conducted in December every year. The application forms for other law entrance exams like MHCET Law ULSAT TSLAWCET APLAWCET ISAT India, AMU B.A. LL.B. Are released between December to March, as the examinations are conducted from May to July. Top universities like BHU, AMU, DU LL.B. Allahabad University offering law courses including five-year integrated law course and three-year LL.B. Course are accepting CUET scores to shortlist candidates. Therefore, candidates have to fill CUET application forms, which are released generally in January or February every year on NTA website. Q:   I have paid the application fee for AILET but the application status is not updated yet. What to do?

A:
Generally, the application status for application fee payment gets updated automatically. Q:   How to pay the application fee of AILET?

A:
Candidates can pay the application fee for AILET exam in online mode only. They can use the online mode payment options like Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking or E-Wallets like GPay, Paytm, or UPI payment banking applications. There is no other method to pay the application fee. To pay the application fee, candidates should first complete all the steps of AILET exam form, and then in the last step they need to pay the application fee. If candidates selects Credit Card or Debit Card, they will be required to enter the details like Name on Card, 16 Digit Card Number, Expiry Month and Year, and CVV, thereafter, they will receive and OTP to complete the transaction. Once the fee is paid, the status SUCCESSFUL will appear on the screen. If candidate chooses Net Banking, then they need to enter their Internet Banking details like Customer ID, and PIN. For E-Wallet Payments candidates need to Enter a mobile number registered for Online Payments like Paytm, GPay or UPI payments.
