Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) is conducted for admission to the MBA programme of Andhra University. APICET exam is a state-level examination. Registered candidates must check the important AP ICET 2024 exam day guidelines. AP ICET 2024 exam will be held tentatively in last week of May 2024, in offline mode. Before appearing for the APICET 2024 exam, candidates must know the important highlights related to the entrance examination as mentioned below:
- AP ICET 2024 exam will be conducted in a Computer-based mode
- AP ICET exam centres will be spread across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh.
- The exam will be conducted in two slots in a single-day window
- APICET exam will be conducted for a duration of 150 minutes
- The question paper will be divided into three sections
- The medium of the question paper will be in English & Telugu. The Section-B (Communication Ability) of AP ICET exam will be in English medium only.

Q: Can I join Andhra University without entrance exam?
Andhra University generally conducts an entrance examination for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The entrance exam is known as the Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) for postgraduate courses and the Andhra University Engineering Entrance Test (AUEET) for undergraduate engineering courses. However, there may be certain courses or categories where admission is granted without an entrance exam. These could include management quota seats, NRI quota seats, or specific courses that have different admission criteria. It is advisable to visit the official website of Andhra University or contact the university's admission department for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding admission without an entrance exam.
Q: When will Andhra Pradesh ICET notification 2024 release?
AP ICET notification 2025 will be released online. APSCHE will first release the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 notification in newspapers and then released online at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in in first week of March. On release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET notification 2025, candidates will be able to check the important dates, exam pattern, application process, eligibility criteria, syllabus and selection criteria. Earlier, APSCHE announces the Andhra Pradesh ICET 2024 exam date. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 exam is expected to be held in first week of May. The exam will be held in CBT mode. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of examination.
Q: What is the exam time for APICET?
Andhra Pradesh ICET exam will be held in two sessions tentatively in first week of May. The first session will be held in morning from 9 AM to 11.30 AM and the second session will be conducted in forenoon from 2.30 PM pm to 5 PM. Andhra Pradesh ICET 2025 exam will be held tentatively on May 06. Candidates who will register for the Andhra Pradesh ICET exam will be notified about the exam time on release of the Andhra Pradesh ICET admit card. Candidates have to report at the allotted AP ICET exam centre one hour prior to the given examination time. No request for change in examination centre, exam date and time will be entertained once the admit card is issued.

APICET Exam Day Guidelines: What not to carry?
On the day of the examination, candidates must not carry any of the following items:
- Stationery items like- Pencil box, plastic pouch, pen, etc.
- Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, headphones, earplugs and so forth.
- Fashion jewellery such as bracelets, chains, rings
- Eatable items such as chips, biscuits, chocolates, etc.
APICET Exam Day Guidelines: Do’s
- AP ICET 2024 hall ticket must be shown at the entrance of the exam centre, failing which candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre
- Candidates must reach the allotted APICET exam centre one hour prior to the given time of examination. Test takers must check the ETA before leaving for the exam centre and plan accordingly.
- Candidates must cooperate with the examination staff during the frisking and identification process.
- Test takers must not forget to carry the APICET admit card, identity proof and other important documents, without which entry will not be permitted.
- Candidates must check the room/hall number allotted against the examination roll number. Sitting on any other seat will lead to loss of time and energy.
- Test takers must carefully listen to the instructions given by the invigilator
- Candidates can attempt questions from any section as a priority. There will be no sectional time limit. Hence, candidates must attempt the questions wisely within the given time.
- Candidates will be given the rough sheet at the exam centre.
APICET Exam Day Guidelines: Don’ts
- Test takers must not carry any of the barred items to avoid cancellation of the exam.
- Do not carry a digital copy of the admit card. Candidates must carry a physical copy of the APICET hall ticket.
- Candidates must not move from their seats upon completion of the exam until the invigilator advises them to.
- In case of tricky questions, do not panic.
- Don’t stick over solving a question, move to the next question to save time.
- Submit the answer key and rough sheet after completion of the exam.
APICET Exam Day Guidelines
- Candidates will be permitted to enter the examination hall from 7.30 AM to 9 AM for the morning slot and from 1.30 PM to 3 PM for the forenoon slot.
- Candidates will not be permitted to enter once the examination commences and will not be allowed to leave the exam centre until the end of the examination.
- Students must listen to the instructions announced by the invigilator carefully. Once the test begins, candidates must understand the symbols to answer carefully. No clarification or doubts related to the question of the examination paper will be entertained.
- In case of any hardware or software issues, candidates must raise their hands to talk to the invigilator. The problem will be rectified within a reasonable time.
- The check-in procedure inside the AP ICET exam centre includes capturing of biometric information (your photo and left-hand thumb impression). This is a security feature which will allow AP ICET 2024 authorities to verify the candidate's identity and also avoid impersonation. Therefore, students are advised not to apply any external materials like Mehanadi, Ink etc. on their Hands/Feet.
- Adoption of any unfair practices will lead to the disqualification of the candidate.
- No travelling expenses will be paid for the journey to take the AP ICET 2024 exam.
- AP ICET 2024 hall ticket must be preserved till the time of admission in the college.
