NMAT 2024: Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

Firstly, stay abreast of the NMAT exam pattern and marking scheme. The NMAT 2024 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) to be conducted within a 70-day window, including one exam slot and two re-exams slots (optional). The exam consists of three sections:

  1. Language Skills
  2. Quantitative Skills

The exam comprises 108 questions in MCQ format. The time allotted for the exam is 120 minutes. Q:   Can I get direct admission to NMIMS Mumbai for MBA?

A:

NO, Master of Business Administration (MBA), is the flagship programme of NMIMS Mumbai which offers a variety of specializations in areas including Digital Transformation, Real Estate, Human Resource Management, Pharmaceutical Management, and Family Management Business & Entrepreneurship. The first attempt NMAT score determines admission in NMIMS MBA, after which there are PI and CD/GD rounds for different specialisations. Selection criteria differ according to specialisation.

NMIMS in Mumbai, India Admission to the MBA, MBA BA, and MBA Pharmaceutical Management programs is still open till 2024. Candidates that are interested may apply via the official website. For NMAT first take applicants, NMIMS Mumbai MBA Admission 2024 is open until October 30, 2023

 

Q:   Can I get direct admission to the BCom programme of NMIMS Hyderabad?

A:

No, NMIMS does not allow direct admissions to BCom. The admissions are based on the candidate's performance in the NPAT exam conducted by the institute. After the exam, the institute releases a merit list of shortlisted candidates. Hence, candidates seeking admisison to the BCom programme of the institute must appear for the NPAT exam. The exam is conducted over a window of over 100 days. Candidates can schedule the exam as per their convenience. They can attempt the exam thrice during the exam window.

Q:   What is the last date to apply for NMIMS Hyderabad BTech admission?

A:

NMIMS Hyderabad BTech admission dates vary from year to year. The admission process typically begins in December with the release of online application forms. The application process was conducted in two phases in 2024. The last date to apply for BTech during the first phase was March 10, 2024. For the second phase, the last date to apply was May 20, 2024. The admission process for 2024 was concluded on July 31, 2024.

Q:   Can I get direct admission to NMIMS School of Business Management?

A:

NMIMS School of Business Management does not have the provision of direct admission as the institute accepts national-level entrance test scores for admission to several MBA courses. SBM Mumbai only accepts NMAT by GMAC scores for admission to most of the Management courses. For admission to a few MBA courses at NMIMS School of Business Management, the institute admits students on the basis of either their past academic performance or on the basis of a departmental entrance test, conducted by SBM.
