SNAP 2024 Exam Day Guideline: Know Important Dos and Don’ts

At the SNAP exam centre, a candidate will be allowed to carry only certain items. Since the exam is held under CCTV vigilance, candidates must not try to sneak in any document or item which is not authorized by the exam authorities or mentioned in the exam day instruction guide. Here we have mentioned the items that candidates are allowed to carry inside the SNAP test centre.

Candidates must reach their SNAP test centre on time as no candidate will be permitted to enter the test venue under any circumstances after the exam has started. If they are late for a SNAP exam, they will have to take the test in their second or third attempt (if they have registered for it). Reporting time for SNAP exam will be printed on the candidate's admit card. Candidates must reach their respective SNAP exam centres as per the reporting time mentioned or at least one hour before the commencement of exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the exam and after that no one will be allowed to enter the venue under any circumstances. 

There is no form correction process in SNAP. Unlike in other MBA entrance exams, candidates do not get a chance to edit their application forms after submission. Once they have submitted the SNAP form, they cannot access it. Thus, it is important to fill the SNAP 2024 application form correctly with valid information. The most important thing to do is mention the test cities very carefully as once the test centre is allotted, it can't be changed. Similarly, candidates must fill the institute and course option carefully so that they are shortlisted for admission process to the institute of their choice only.

The Group Exercise-Personal Interaction-Writing Aptitude Test round of admission through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is held in February-March. For MBA admission, the schedule is announced by the participating institutes after the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test result declaration in February. No, there will be no arrangement for depositing personal belongings such as bags and valuables at the SNAP exam centre. Candidates must not carry any bag or valuables on the exam day. Or they should be accompanied by a guardian/friend who can look after their belongings while they appear for the test.

On the SNAP exam day, candidates are required to carry only two copies of their admit card, a photo ID proof, passport size photo and a blue/black ball point pen. They need not carry any other item as nothing apart from these items will be allowed inside the exam venue. The SNAP 2023 application started on August 23 and ended on November 23, 2023.. The SNAP 2023 exam dates were December 10, 17 and 22, 2023. The SNAP 2023 admit card for the first attempt released on December 4 and for the second and third test it released on December 9. The SNAP 2023 result was announced on January 10, 2024.

After submitting the application form, make sure to take a printout of the confirmation page. 

Applicants must note that there is no form correction process in SNAP, so they will not be able to edit their form after submission. Thus, they must fill the application form correctly, before the SNAP last date to apply 2023.

SNAP exam fee can be paid until the last date of the application form submission. If the fee is not paid on time the application form will not get submitted. Thus, the aspirant will not be eligible to appear in the exam. The best time to pay the fee is along with form filling. The process of SNAP form filling is such that, the fee payment is the second and mandatory step. Without paying the SNAP fee, you cannot access the application form. The fee for college selection is to be paid after form filling.

The fee per institute for SNAP 2024 is INR 1000, which is to be paid at the time of SNAP application form filling. There is an option in the SNAP application form, where candidates have to select SIU institutes and MBA courses for admission. The fee will be calculated according to the number of institutes they will select. The SNAP application process will be completed only after selection of colleges and payment of institute fees.

If you do not pay the fee for the colleges, the SNAP form will not be submitted and you will not be eligible to appear for the exam. The SNAP admit card will be issued only upon complete and successful registration.
