SNAP 2024 exam session 1 is scheduled on December 8 so it is time to get ready for the exam day. SNAP authorities have released the official SNAP 2024 Test Day Guide for candidates to understand the processes related to the exam and exam day.

SNAP 2024 will be conducted on three days - December 8, 15 and 21. The guidelines for conducting of the exam is common to all the three sessions. SNAP 2024 Exam day and Admit Card Download Dates

First of all, you should know when the SNAP 2024 admit card will be released for your exam session. The admit card has to be downloaded from the SNAP Test website on the scheduled date.

SNAP Exam Timings and Reporting Time 2024

This year, SNAP exam will be held in two slots on all exam days. Given below is the table indicating exam timings for all the three sessions of SNAP 2024 and reporting time for them.

Q:   What are the items to carry to the SNAP exam centre?

A:

At the SNAP exam centre, a candidate will be allowed to carry only certain items. Since the exam is held under CCTV vigilance, candidates must not try to sneak in any document or item which is not authorized by the exam authorities or mentioned in the exam day instruction guide. Here we have mentioned the items that candidates are allowed to carry inside the SNAP test centre.

  • Colour prints out of SNAP admit card
  • 2-3 passport size photo
  • Photo ID such as Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card
  • Black/blue ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet

You should also know the items that are prohibited inside the SNAP exam hall. Check below that list.

Q:   What if I reach my SNAP centre after the exam has started?

A:

Candidates must reach their SNAP test centre on time as no candidate will be permitted to enter the test venue under any circumstances after the exam has started. If they are late for a SNAP exam, they will have to take the test in their second or third attempt (if they have registered for it). Reporting time for SNAP exam will be printed on the candidate's admit card. Candidates must reach their respective SNAP exam centres as per the reporting time mentioned or at least one hour before the commencement of exam. The entry gates will be closed 15 minutes before the exam and after that no one will be allowed to enter the venue under any circumstances. 

Q:   What is the form correction schedule for SNAP 2024?

A:

There is no form correction process in SNAP. Unlike in other MBA entrance exams, candidates do not get a chance to edit their application forms after submission. Once they have submitted the SNAP form, they cannot access it. Thus, it is important to fill the SNAP 2024 application form correctly with valid information. The most important thing to do is mention the test cities very carefully as once the test centre is allotted, it can't be changed. Similarly, candidates must fill the institute and course option carefully so that they are shortlisted for admission process to the institute of their choice only.

SNAP 2024 Admit Card

Candidates need to keep in mind the following instructions regarding the SNAP admit card 2024:

  • SNAP admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the premise without showing the admit card.
  • Candidates must carry two colour printouts of their SNAP 2024 admit card. Digital admit card and black and white print outs are not acceptable.
  • Along with the SNAP 2024 admit card, candidates must carry original copy of Driving License, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card.
  • The admit card is valid for the particular exam session only. Candidates will have to download and carry the session specific admit card to the test centre.
  • One copy of the SNAP 2024 admit card will be returned to the candidates after verification and stamping. Preserve the verified admit card until the admission process gets over.

Items Not to Carry on SNAP 2024 Exam Day

  • Candidates must not carry mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets such as watches, calculators, smart devices of any kind, etc. and paper.
  • Candidates should not carry bags or valuables to the test centre as there is no facility for the safekeeping at the exam venue.
  • Do not carry any other stationary apart from a black or blue ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet.

SNAP 2024 Guidelines: Reaching the Test Lab

  • At entry gate, the test centre staff will check the candidate’s photo identification and SNAP admit card 2024.
  • The staff will ensure your identification and then let you in.
  • Check the seat numbers displayed outside the allocated computer lab. Confirm your seat number from the displayed sheet as per the ‘System Number’ mentioned alongside your name.
  • Next, the candidates have to sign the attendance register and proceed to their terminal as per the system number.
  • Candidates will have to give their facial photograph as part of biometric information in the SNAP Test lab.
  • Do not touch the computer until announced by the invigilator to do so. Wait for instruction to start the test.
  • Don’t get up from your seat in between the test or even after completing your test.
  • Be seated until the invigilator announces end of the test and that candidates can proceed towards exit.

Q:   What is the schedule of SNAP What-GE-PI?

A:

The Group Exercise-Personal Interaction-Writing Aptitude Test round of admission through the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is held in February-March. For MBA admission, the schedule is announced by the participating institutes after the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test result declaration in February. Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune and other colleges start the shortlisting process a week after SNAP result announcement. It will announce the Group Exercise-Personal Interaction-Writing Aptitude Test dates at the official website. Q:   Till when can I pay the SNAP 2024 fee?

A:

SNAP exam fee can be paid until the last date of the application form submission. If the fee is not paid on time the application form will not get submitted. Thus, the aspirant will not be eligible to appear in the exam. The best time to pay the fee is along with form filling. The process of SNAP form filling is such that, the fee payment is the second and mandatory step. Without paying the SNAP fee, you cannot access the application form. The fee for college selection is to be paid after form filling.

Q:   What is the exam schedule of SNAP exam and what is the SNAP last date to apply 2023?

A:

The SNAP 2023 application started on August 23 and ended on November 23, 2023.. The SNAP 2023 exam dates were December 10, 17 and 22, 2023. The SNAP 2023 admit card for the first attempt released on December 4 and for the second and third test it released on December 9. The SNAP 2023 result was announced on January 10, 2024.

  2. Visit the official website of SNAP and click on the "Register" button
  3. Enter the necessary information and upload scanned copies of your photo and signature
  4. Pay the application fee online, which is Rs. 2250/-

After submitting the application form, make sure to take a printout of the confirmation page. 

Applicants must note that there is no form correction process in SNAP, so they will not be able to edit their form after submission. Thus, they must fill the application form correctly, before the SNAP last date to apply 2023.

 

Q:   Will there be any arrangement for depositing bags at the SNAP 2024 exam centre?

A:

No, there will be no arrangement for depositing personal belongings such as bags and valuables at the SNAP exam centre. Candidates must not carry any bag or valuables on the exam day. Or they should be accompanied by a guardian/friend who can look after their belongings while they appear for the test.

On the SNAP exam day, candidates are required to carry only two copies of their admit card, a photo ID proof, passport size photo and a blue/black ball point pen. They need not carry any other item as nothing apart from these items will be allowed inside the exam venue. Candidates must check the instructions related to this in the SNAP admit card for the latest guidelines.

Q:   What is the fee per institute for SNAP 2024?

A:

The fee per institute for SNAP 2024 is INR 1000, which is to be paid at the time of SNAP application form filling. There is an option in the SNAP application form, where candidates have to select SIU institutes and MBA courses for admission. The fee will be calculated according to the number of institutes they will select. The SNAP application process will be completed only after selection of colleges and payment of institute fees.

If you do not pay the fee for the colleges, the SNAP form will not be submitted and you will not be eligible to appear for the exam. The SNAP admit card will be issued only upon complete and successful registration.
