TS ICET Exam Day Guidelines: Telangana State Council of Higher Education is conducting TS ICET exam on June 5 and 6. A good score in a competitive exam is a result of how well the exam day is spent. If one manages to keep calm, it will be a smooth ride; but if they don’t, they might find themselves in a tight spot. TS ICET exam is a gateway to MBA and MCA admissions at institutes situated in Telangana.

TS ICET Exam Day Checklist and Guidelines: Do's

Candidates must do the following things on the TS ICET examination day to score well in the exam.

  1. Wake up early on the TS ICET exam day, revise important formulae and topics using the short notes.
  2. Depart for the TS ICET test centre early to reach at least two hourse before the exam schedule. Check the address of your TS ICET exam centre and check the status of real time traffic from your residence to the exam centre. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall after the commencement of the exam even if he/she is late by a minute.
  3. Reach the exam centre at least one and a half hour before TS ICET 2024 exam starts to complete the identity without compromising on the safety measures and mandatory frisking.
  4. Carry TS ICET 2024 hall ticket, photo ID card, blue/ black ballpoint pen, and transparent water bottle to the exam centre.
  5. Check the hall number allotted against the TS ICET hall ticket number and take your seat. Sitting on any other seat will lead to a waste of time and hassle inside the exam hall.
  6. Listen the instructions laid by the invigilator and appearing on the login screen before you start the exam.
  7. You can attempt questions from any section first, there will be no sectional time limit and you could navigate across sections. Thus, answer questions from the section in which you have complete confidence.
  8. Be mindful of the time you are taking to solve and review each question. Since there is no sectional time limit, you must manage the time properly to be able to attempt all the questions in the prescribed time duration.
  9. Invigilator will provide you a sheet for all the rough work. You must note important formulaes that are typically hard to remember.
  10. In case you feel a particular question is taking toon much time, mark the same for review and proceed with other questions to avoid breaking the flow.
  11. Plan the time for each section considering the previous sessions exam analysis.
  12. Report any kind of technical glitches immediately after facing the same to the concerned authorities.

TS ICET Exam Day Guidelines: Don’ts

Candidates must keep in mind and avoid following mistakes on the TS ICET exam day. 

Q:   What is the time for TSICET exam?

A:
Telangana ICET exam is conducted in four shifts divided across two days. Two shifts on each exam day of the TSICET 2023 are conducted as the Forenoon shift and Afternoon shift. The Forenoon shift of TSICET 2023 exam will be conducted from 10:00 A. M. to 12:30 P. M. While the Afternoon shift of TSICET 2023 exam will be conducted from 2:30 P. M. to 5:00 P. M. Both exam days for TSICET 2023, I. e. May 26 and 27, will have Forenoon and Afternoon shifts. Kakatiya University will allot the TSICET exam date based on the choice of preferred exam city and course while filling the TSICET application form. The complete address of TSICET exam centre along with the exam date and shift will be mentioned in the hall ticket.

Q:   What are the prohibited items inside the TSICET exam centre?

A:
Candidates must not carry any of the prohibited items to the exam centre. In case the candidates are found with any of the prohibited items they will get disqualified from the examination process. Some of the prohibited items inside the exam centre include the following: - Electronic gadgets such as smartphones, smartwatches, calculators, pager, Bluetooth device, etc. - Printed material, notes, etc. - Carry bags, purses, wallets etc. - Eatables.

Q:   How to know TSICET exam centre address?

A:
TSICET exam centre address is mentioned on the admit card. Candidates will know the complete address of the TSICET centre after Kakatiya University issues the hall ticket. Besides the exam centre address, candidates will find the evam date, shift time, and other exam day guidelines on the TSICET hall ticket. Before issuance of the TSICET hall ticket, candidates can only predict the test zone based on preference added while filling the application form. Kakatiya University will not entertain ant requests to know exam centre address before issuance of the hall ticket.

  1. Do not carry any electronic items, including smartphone, Bluetooth device, earphones, digital watch, Mathematical/Log-tables, pager and health band, etc.
  2. Do not wear large spectacles or any other fashion accessories on the exam day.
  3. Do not carry a digital copy or photocopy of TS ICET admit card and photo ID proof. Only a hard copy of the hall ticket is accepted by the officials.
  4. Do not sign the TS ICET admit card beforehand.
  5. Do not carry any beverage or eatables to the exam centre except the transparent water bottle
  6. Do not touch the keyboard or hover mouse to view other sections of the page before the invigilator’s announcement to start the test.
  7. Do not move from your seat after the completion of the test until the announcement is made to leave the exam hall.
  8. In case of tricky questions, do not panic and try to figure out what the question is asking. Don’t waste much time on it and move on to the easier set of questions.
  9. Do not panic at any point of time during the exam. If you find a question tough, skip it and move on to another without wasting much time.
  10. Do not keep the rough sheet with you. Candidates must submit it along with the answer sheet.

Q:   When will Kakatiya University conduct TSICET exam?

A:

TS ICET 2024 will be conducted on June 4 and 5 across 20 regional cities in Telangana. The TS ICET 2024 exam date has been in line with the past year's timeline. TS ICET 2023 exam was conducted on May 26 and 27. In the session of TSICET 2022, TSCHE conducted the exam on July 27 and 28. Whereas, in 2021, Kakatiya University conducted the TSICET exam on August 19 and 20.

TS ICET exam in the last week of May and first week of June is in line with the pre-covid timeline.

Q:   What are the items that can be carried inside the TSICET exam centre?

A:
Candidates are not allowed to carry anything inside the TSICET exam centre, but only a few items required during the test. Officials at tha TSICET exam centre will deny entry to the centre until any such prohibited material is found during the frisking process. As per the TSICET 2023 notification, Hyderabad is divided into four tes zones for TSICET 2023 exam. While filling the form, candidates can check the TSICET test centre zone wise location to get the centre in particular areas of the state. TSICET exam 2023 is being conducted across 20 test zones situates across Telangana. Candidates can choose three test zone preferences while filling the TSICET application form. Q:   What happens if my computer system faces a technical glitch while taking the computer-based test at TSICET exam centre?

A:
In case of any technical issues with the computer system, candidates must report the issue to the invigilator immediately. Computer systems in an online exam are connected to a server. Whenever the system hands or shuts down, the timer of the online test will stop and will resume when the candidate accesses the login dashboard again. Candidates will be allotted another system to take the TSICET computer-based test. The test will commence from the time where it got stuck. Therefore, candidates will not lose time in case of a technical issue in the system at the test centre. However, there is very less chance of any fault or issue in the system at TSICET exam centre as the systems go through quality checks before the commencement of the exam.
