TSICET Exam Preparation Checklist- Dos…

  1. Choose Study Environment carefully- This is one point, that all students ignore, but in reality has a great deal of importance in helping you focus on what you study. Yes, a good study environment does help students grasp more information and retain it than they will be able to do it in an unfit environment. Various studies too have backed this point with ample evidences. It is an ideal option to pick out one place in the house and check if this place has ample light and is free from noise and other forms of distractions.

Note: Keep away your mobile phones as they can distract one while studying for TSICET exam. If you have created a study plan or routine for yourself, paste it on the board and cross check your performance based on the schedule created.

  1. Regulate Your Study Time- Another important point that all test takers ignore is the need to regulate the study time. One needs to focus and study hard but not overdo it and maintain a balance between study and personal care/ recreation of the mind. This will ensure that the study regime is not turning out to be stressful in nature. The idea is, if you are studying, you need to keep in mind to take interval in the middle as such helps in better retention of information absorbed by the brain.
  2. Review for 15 Minutes at The End of Each Day- Keep TSICET 2024 Syllabus close by. Put a tick on those sections that you have covered. Also, while covering any topic, make short notes in your own language or draw a pattern in the copy from the data analysis section or jot down the formulas to solve problems from the sequence and series for better remembrance. Make sure to review those notes for at least 15 minutes once you have covered a particular topic for the day. This revision process will help in the end to remember all the topics better.
  3. Create a Personalized Study Plan- It is a known fact that having a personalized study plan is highly essential for students to crack not just TSICET 2024 exam but even other MBA entrance exams. Ask any topper and one thing that is common to their success story is following a smart study plan. Exam score is closely related to two key factors namely- academic quotient and test taking quotient. We suggest students to create a TSICET preparation plan based on their performance in mock tests and solving of TSICET sample question papers. Here a student will be his/her own mentor and judge areas of improvement and areas of strength. Build the smart study around these two factors and they will be good to go in both the preparation and ability to solve questions quickly.

TSICET Exam Preparation Checklist- Don’ts…

  1. Studying Late at Night- If you are a working professional or in the final year of graduation, your daytime is largely occupied with a number of activities. In such a situation if you have planned to study for the exam staying awake late night, you are only creating pressure for your mind. The brain cannot work round the clock or for long hours getting too little time for rest. Therefore, even if you manage to study staying awake for long hours in the night that will hardly turn out qualitative in nature. Rather divide the entire 4 hours of study between 2-3 hours at night and 1-2 hours in the early morning. By this, you will also manage to give rest to your body and study in fruitful ways.
  2. Studying in the Bed- Often due to space constraint and most of the time because of our personal choice, we prefer to study in bed. However, we need to alter this habit in order to make the study regime more actionable. Our brain is hard-wired to sleep in the bedroom. It can automatically affect the students’ attention span to a considerable extent.
  3. Last Minute Cramming Session- It is often denoted as pull all- nighters habit that affects the performance of most of the candidate on the final day of the exam. Last minute cram sessions do not allow the brain to absorb most of the information and retain them at quality level. Thus, we recommend student to avoid this habit and consider it as an important guideline for the TSICET 2024 exam if they really wish to score high in the exam and secure a seat in any reputed MBA college of Telangana.
