Karnataka PGCET 2023 results were declared on November 22, 2023, for the exam that was conducted in the last week of September. Similarly, in the PGCET 2022 sessions, the result was released on December 29 for the exam that was conducted on November 22.

Therefore, it can be interpreted that candidates could download the Karnataka PGCET results within 30 to 45 days of the exam date. Hard copy of the Karnataka PGCET result or mark sheet is not sent to the candidates. They had to take printouts of the mark sheet and preserve it till the counselling and admission process is over.

Karnataka PGCET Document Verification

Initially, KEA releases the document verification schedule. The Karnataka PGCET document verification process is conducted offline at nearly 10 helpline centres across Karnataka. Candidates need to appear for the physical document verification at the desired helpline centre as per schedule. KEA prepares the Karnataka PGCET document verification schedule by segregating ranks across multiple days and time slots.

Once the documents are verified, eligible candidates will receive a secret key. Candidates have to use the security key to create a passowrd for option entry login portal.

A:

Candidates who pass the Karnataka PGCET exam are eligble to appear for the centralised counselling process to be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority. Candidates are called for the document verification process based on their ranks in the Karnataka PGCET exam. Candidates are advised to attend the counselling only if they have the required percentage of marks in the qualifying exam (50 per cent for unreserved categories and 45% for reserved categories).

Candidates can check Karnataka PGCET result online through the user account and by entering the PGCET number. The result displays the rank and score of the candidate. KEA releases the result on the official website only. Hard copy of the Karnataka PGCET result or mark sheet is not sent to the candidates. They will have to take printouts of the mark sheet and preserve it till the counselling and admission process is over.

Q:   Can I apply for revaluation of Karnataka PGCET results?

A:

No, there is no provision to re-evaluate/re-check Karnataka PGCET 2023 result. The exam conducting authority will not entertain any correspondence in this regard. Therefore candidates have to accept the scores of the exam as declared by the authority as the final ones. Karnataka PGCET 2023 rank list will be used for counselling for the allotment of seats. The scores of Karnatka PGCET are carefully determined by the authorities. There are no chances of errors in it. The exam conducting authorities will then calculate the aggregate marks/scores of the candidates in Karnataka PGCET 2023 on the basis of the total marks secured by candidates in each subject.
